Bakers in Milford is the Motorcity Pontiac club makeup show for their cancelation in July.  This is the last Show at Bakers for the year.

Golling in LK Orion is holding it's last show, torn between the 2.  Golling will be the Widetracker club meeting as well but no food this time. 

Guess I'm heading for Bakers!!!!  

Would like to meet up with any Forever Pontiac members that would like to make the show. 

If I show up, it will be at Baker's, simply because I'm registered for that show - from July. However, I may have to leave early because it is a night game at Michigan this weekend. Plus I also have my son's child "gender reveal" party on Sunday. So no rest for me this weekend. Ugh.

My last planned car show is the WV Drag Racing Hall of Fame show in Winfield WV (outside Charleston) on Sept. 22 & 23. Winfield is where the first drag strip in WV opened in 1959. This year is the 10th year for for the HOF, so they are having a drive-in movie on Friday night and the car show and induction ceremony on Saturday.

I may do a fall color tour or one last "Halloween" local area show in October, weather, football schedule, and time permitting. Right now nothing is planned.

i have to work but i will show up at bakers hopefully by noon. 

The boss showed me a Widetracker page on facebook.  Seems the club Pres got a Pontiac banner like ours to hang from his canopy. Hmmm  Thought at 1st it was Frosty N Lucy. Lucy has a better interior and Frosty's banner is much cooler!

Tim Mays - current prez of the Widetrackers. I ran into him at Frankenmuth. I saw the banner there. I thought the same thing, copy cat!

So what a beautiful day to take in a carshow with my daughter.  Temps in the 40's this AM make some great shots of foggy fields and a huge Sun coming up.  Awesome cruise after meeting up with JustaG6 out to Milford. Set up the canopy/banners wiped off the cars...Showtime.  Here's a couple shots of the day. Couple of vendors for a swap meet but....  

 

Frosty wasn't able to get out of his Honey doo list and didn't make it.  IndyJoe had to work today, but was able to make it at the end of the show.  Perfect day, light breeze and made it into the 70's. 

121 was the highest registration # I saw.  Here come some eyecandy....

 

Top 25 were determined by judges and there was BEST show, paint, engine, ect.  Sunbird took one of the top 25 plaques! Have never seen this guy before. This is the real deal GTO.

 

Couple more shots, then......To put the 23 season to bed, IndymanJoe, JustaG6 N Justa6,  took our group shot without Frosty.  We all know AXEman from Street Outlaws.  Justa6 is now Hatchetman.   BYE BYE Summer!

I really wish I had been there, but too much to do for the weekend. I had to mow the lawn before I could go to the Michigan game. Plus my wife was stressing over Sunday’s gender reveal party for my boy and his girlfriend. They are having a boy BTW.

The boy is stressed out with buying a house, his job, becoming a dad, etc. it’s stressing out the boss in the process. Ugh. I’m already sick of the drama! I’m really going to hate moving his shit out of the house.

Deliver it to the driveway, the rest is up to him!  Like the younger sibling,  do you get his room?? Or at least the game room?   I have my trailer if you need to borrow it.  Slightly tore up from my neighbors tree falling on it, but pulls straight.  Got something with a class 3 hitch?

I am going to at least claim the upstairs. Wife is already talking about putting 2 twin beds in his old room, essentially making it a guest room.

Let guest or whatever use the stairs, CLAIM what is rightfully YOURS, esp with your knees in the shape they are in. 

I’m in Winfield WV this weekend. Tonight is drive in movie night. We had to inflate the screen. The wind gave us fits for several hours but we final got it stabilized.

We got free popcorn too! Awesome!

The car show and HOF induction ceremony is tomorrow.

 

We are calling ourselves Walnut Grove Drive In in memory of the original Walnut Grove drive in that was here in Winfield next to the drag strip. Sadly both are closed and gone today!

After the WV show, I did two last shows/cruises. The first was the Widetracker's Fall Color Tour. It was a 40-mile jaunt from a township hall to a local cider mill. I have photos that I will share those photos shortly. The last one was a mid-week Trunk or Treat event, so local kids could dress up and get Halloween candy. I actually drove Lucy an hour there and back to this event. It was the first drive in Lucy in almost 3-4 years, when the heater core blew.
