Furnace guys will be herre on the 15th for a ceiling mount.  I will install my 60 gallon compressor and the hoist had to wait for a year for the concrete to cure more.  Drywall is going up.

Any wall art planned? Wall of Shame parts?

Is the furnace natural gas? Propane? Or electric?

Probably to late, but one thing I did when I built my shop & expanded my garage was to plumbed 1” black pipe from where my compressor is located into the attic. Then make drop downs inside each wall with air chucks connections. out of the drywall. This way I don’t have to drag a hose all over the shop or garage. I can just make a connection close to where I need it.

The furnace is natural gas.   As for the compressor i have one of those piping kits that uses plastic and quick fittings for it to go in.  I am doing a perimeter loop with 4 drop downs and two retractable rubber lines.

Which hose kit are you using? I hope to do that in the Garage Mahal myself

Thats actually the same set up I'm currently using. I only have a one car garage, but I've got 3 benches on one wall and toolboxes and shelving that fill up the opposite wall. I've got drops at 2 of the 3 benches and a retractable hose reel next to the door. Nice easy system to install with no complaints from me.

 Nice plumbing pipe boys

bit pricey though !! For justA some multi  layer pipe and fittings .

any plumbing crimp pipe/ muti layer works good and your playing with only 100 - 150 psi

more importantly is a fixed point in the wall for a water trap .

and capacity !!!

I added a old water pump pressure tank to my system to add volume for when I am sand blasting

I remember those days when I purchased my first house (it was my grandmother's old house) and I redid the walls in the back mud room. I thought I was going to choke on the drywall dust since it was such a tiny room off the back of the house. I can sympathize with notallthere.

So is the furnace in?

How did your visit go?

Furnace is in.  Made the mistake of not setting the thermostat correctly and had the shop at 84F.  I turned that down.

The visit went good and may have caught them off guard with our new UK friend.

What's wrong with a toastie garage? It should help that engine swap for the Fiero!

I had some friends visit recently too. They showed up in brand new Cooper Mini. It replaced their long-in-the-tooth Chevy Cavalier. It was awesome to see them with new wheels! I don't get to see them enough as it is.

I've lost a lot of weight in a toasty garage. 84F is like running AC in my garage

But it's only water weight (e.g. sweat) right, Ringo!

84F is cool in Florida these days.

I could imagine.  They are fun little cars to drive.  I am trying to convince her to let me go to the dragstrip with it and see what the time will post.

I will admit that the fit and finish is alot higher end than anything domestic is right now.
