Hey Dennis thank you for checking in sir. Well after leaving the hospital I guess if the blood transfusions passed on a disease that is similar to herpes and now I am legally blind. I was just approved for disability 100% so I am retired with nothing to do. Lol. But that’s life. I did just make reservations to go to the Tri Power Nationals in Ohio in July. As for the GTO I just repainted the front Wndura nose, added painted 71 mirrors, and added a complete engine turned dash/console. I will send pics via email to you. Thank you again for checking in sir!!! It’s great to hear from my friends. Yeah sadly my driving days are near over. No more shooting as well. In 2 weeks I am giving my son my daily driver. I have driven but in very short drives. It’s very difficult but somehow I will rise from all of this. Having good friends helps. Guys never lose sight of the things we take for granted. They can be taken down you quickly and without warning.

Kiwi, stratman. Thank you for your support and kind words. I will be a diehard Poncho fan until the day that I die and hopefully in another lifetime as well. This matter won’t defeat me it will only define me. I am blessed to be alive and have a group to be a part of like Forever Pontiac.

That's the guy I know.  I have always been a fan even going back sooo many years when our BLOWER cars were competing against each other.  Anything you need bro, You Justa have to ask.

I will second Justa's sentiments. You have friends here in Michigan for sure buddy.

I would have loved to catch up with you in Ohio but my family has vacation plans that conflict with it. I do hope our paths are able to cross in the near future though.

Sorry to hear that, bud! Certainly know what health problems can do to your normal lifestyle. Hope things shape up and you find new ways to continue to enjoy Pontiac and cars. Let us know if we can help out. Thoughts/prayers are with you.

Thank you Ringo. Much appreciated.

Oh hell man...

Sorry to hear everything that happened.

It's nice to see that you have something you love to keep you busy and happy.

Keep working on that monster of yours and you're in my prayers...

360 my friend my heart breaks for you! Life can be very unfair for no obvious reason! But I know you will take those lemons and make the best lemon aid anyone has ever tasted!
And as Justa6 our buddy said, lean on us whatever you need Justa ask! There are many things that pull us together! God, country, brotherhood! Always in my prayers Randy!

It can be hard to ask for help but it is soothing to know it's there if and when you need it. I know from personal experience...

In 2010, at the POCI Convention in Charleston WV, I nearly died. I unknowingly ruptured my colon and walked around for 4 days poisoning myself. I nearly died of sepsis. I spent a month in ICU, 21 days in a medically induced coma. My kidneys came close to shutting down. The Pontiac and classic car communities in Charleston rallied around me and my family - for which I am eternally grateful. Things like this change you forever, in ways you cannot predict or expect.

I made a new family in West Virginia after that. I've been closer to them than I think I would have otherwise. There is almost nothing I won't do for them in kind. So when I go back to Charleston, I don't just go for the car show. I go back to see my WV family.

So embrace this Pontiac family you have 360.....we are part of your family too brother. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
