  6. You will ....... (sigh) and you have. I am still wondering if that was an badly abused and stretched Speedo or male G-string within all the hair, but honestly, I still don't want to know the answer. Really.
  7. The two Chevy concept cars that come close to looking like the Banshee that I could find in this time frame are: The 1988 Chevy Venture Concept The 1986 Chevy Corvette Indy
  8. Filled up the wife's Traverse today after lunch....$1.729 / gallon (that was the cash and credit price).
  9. Here is a short film about the Banshee. As you can see, this is a working, driving concept car, unlike the 1999 Concept GTO. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9R1bvIXPkQ I will have to check - I am not aware of any that looks like the Banshee per se. Do you think the Chevy versions came out in the same time frame?

  13. I remember that. JUSTA6 reminded us (back then) to light some candles and say some prayers for you when you were having the surgery. I am glad God listened and helped you out. I am glad you are feeling well enough to get back into your cars again. Welcome back buddy!
  14. Excellent job and very creative work. Just knowing about these mirrors existed, knowing that they were available on the SSE/i models, finding them and adapting them to your car is at the very heart of hot rodding. Its the little things that makes a car custom to you and your own tastes, and they don't have to break the bank either.
  15. $1.78 for cash, $1.86 for credit at the Sunoco near my dad's house. Saw it for $1.80 cash and credit at the Admiral station near the old AC Spark Plug plant.
  16. I installed some new Weather Tech front and back custom fit floor mats for the Envoy that I got for Christmas. Then I cleaned the seats, dash, and console with some of the 303 Products Fabric & Vinyl Interior Cleaner I had from winning Ride of the Month back in 2013.
  17. How much is the special sale price of the T/A ? And why the hell didn't you come home with the T/A ?
  18. Especially when he has your cell phone number and he's not afraid to use !!!!
  19. Still can't find a working discount code. Guess I am going to have to pay retail.
  20. Curiosity? Afraid he posted pictures of his nude rear? Or the gut churning "Oh God, what the hell is he posting now?" reaction?
  21. Indeed. I wonder what day it goes up for sale? Did you notice the write-up on this car? "For sale at auction: Lot #429 - Frame-on restoration of a Pontiac GTO convertible with original Build Sheet and lots of documentation. Straight body with very nice paint. Blue exterior with white interior and white top. Upgraded with 455cid HO V8 and Judge decals, automatic transmission, air conditioning and gauges. New convertible top. Runs and drives great." The VIN says it is a true GTO and this was the last year of the GTO convertible. Only 678 regular GTO convertibles were built and 17 more Judge convertibles were built. So unmolested, this car was still one of less than 600 built with the original 400 c.i. engine. Adding the 455 H.O. and Judge decals would make this car much more desirable in some sense, but it is a not a true Judge or 455 H.O. car, so this will hurt the cars ultimately value somewhat since these are not original to the car. Neat looking car all the same, and still very desirable. I would be surprised if it hit $100k though since it is not all numbers matching.
  22. Agreed. The downside of globalization (for us) is it often means importing these vehicles from Europe or Asia. Virtually no new well paying manufacturing or engineering jobs are created in North America unless sales volumes are sufficient to warrant building these vehicles here.
