So we are a month away from the Detroit Autorama. Who is in? JUSTA? notallthere? Indymanjoe? Any one else?

A buddy of mine has had his wife's '63 Ford Galaxie invited in participate in the Cavalcade of Kustoms. SO I know Chuck and his wife will be there.

Still waiting to here which day I need to schedule my Vball teams practice. As I have players from all over Mich and Ohio. It's hard to come up with a time we can all get together. For those that don't know, the US Nationals will be held in Detroit for the 1st time since 1967. Over 600 teams from all over the world will be competing in May. It cost 1000's per player to compete at this level. Being in our backyard, cuts the cost dramatically. Justa qualify to play with the worlds best is amazing, and we have 3 chances to prove ourselves.....GOLD, SILVER or Bronze. We have 2 tune up tournies between now N MAY. Even my cars are simply an afterthought until JUNE.

dont encourage him Ringo. and go for the gold JUSTA6.

Hey Frosty... is Lucy going to be in this show with her new Rally II's?

Sadly no stratman. You have to be invited into the Cavalcade of Customs. I could enter it in the muscle car classes I suppose, but honestly, she is nowhere near where I want her yet either. I am trying to get her into the upholstery shop this winter plus get the new rims powder coated.

I understand... she doesn't want to be seen without her new threads and shoes. B)

I would also like to get to the bottom of the mysterious oil loss and leak. So perhaps some engine work too.

She does not puff anything during acceleration or start up. I did not see anything on the ground when we did the sway bar swap. What about mid to high rpm cruising? I can grab some brown pop and we can do a plug search. Could take all day with the pop.

Less than a month to Autorama.

That's one of my suspicions. I find drops on the ground once the car cools off. I can't explain why I go through oil when I drive long distance. I suspect that once the oil comes up to temperature and pressure for a period of time, I think it puts pressure on the gasket/seats/main seal/etc. and it leaks out that way, or there is a certain amount of blow by on the rings or valves. Like you said though, I don't see anything at start-up or acceleration.

Three weeks to Autorama.
