What is this car?

Featured Replies

Alright so a guy at work came up to me and asked me if I could identify a car. Sure. He showed me the picture on his phone. He said it's the cover for a song he was listening to on Spotify. Now he did find out that Spotify was based out of the UK. Looking at it I first guessed the Australian Ford Falcon, but that isn't it. There are 2 people in it, so by seeing them I judged it is a compact car. The grille is a 2 piece grille, being split on the sides. We can match the grille, but the lower valance we are not having any luck. Check the wipers, it might be RHD. We tried Charger, Torino, Challenger. I'm thinking European Ford, but may be anything. Any help would be great

possibly a modified/photoshopped car? maybe a Cuda? looks Mopary.

I was thinking the same as ghost. Cuda with the Photoshop.

I believe that car is a european Ford. I think they called it Taunus or something like that. It looks like the ones I remember when I was in Germany in the early 80's. The Fords over there were "weird" to me, because they were so small, and they really ran great. I never saw one that was automatic or with a bench seat. There were sedans as well as coupes, but they all had bucket front seats. They would really run, and handle.

Photo shopped for sure, but has a modified early 60's Comet look to me.

The grille and headlights looks like AMC Rambler/Rambler Marlin to me. However, the bumper is not correct. Another close looking car is the late 60s Plymouth Fury.

However, I suspect this a highly modified Photoshop picture and we might never know.

Not very adverse in international vehicles I'm no help.

Thought it might be a 1st gen Toyota Celica. Close, but no cigar...

Aussie Falcon - think of Mel Gibson's car in Mad Max.

I told the guy at work the car, and he said he'd buy you a beer as well. 2 beers, totally worth that plane ticket or gas money up here
