Busy training for their computer system. Trying to make sure I remember everything I can. I haven't written notes like this since college.

Dude I haven't written that many notes in the 4 weeks I have been at college this semester....

I still have two more sessions to do, so I'm probably gonna write down another five to six pages at least, then review them throughout the week.

I get sidetracked if I take notes at the time of doing something... Have gotten good at attending meetings/training/classes and just writing important stuff afterwards. Surprisingly haven't messed anything up in the 17+ years I've been doing it.

Me being an Aspie, I have enough issues learning something new and complicated as it is. Note taking is REALLY helping me get the repetition of the daily grind down.

Their parts catalogues are confusing alone, due to only parts #s and VIN #s and codes for finding all needed parts. However, their diagram systems to assist finding parts is handy.

It's a Mitsubishi dealer, but they also work on and have Suzuki parts. Suzuki pulled out of the North American market as of November last year, didn't know that before I started.

BUT, just two days in and I can tell that the dealership doesn't move at a furious or stressful pace. Also, I'm not used to a work environment where there's multiple departments all working amongst themselves (parts, service, sales, financing, etc) My first bulk of training is done, for now. But my job is only five minutes from home...I'm relaxing on my couch for my hour break right now!

Yeah, I don't blame you with all that.

Going home for lunch is great eh! Do it for every shift. Best part is nooners. Now if they wife would join in that would be better.

Good thing for me, my lady is always home when I go on break. =]
