Hey lads, this one is a little different from my usual posts, however I'm pretty sure you'll appreciate it.

I was invited by a mate (who also hasn't been to this event before, although has tried & failed to go for the last few years) - never been to a Lowrider event because...well, just because I've always thought those guys were on a different wavelength.

Well, I can honestly say it was the most fun I (we, as my better half agrees entirely!) have had at any car event...ever! Those Lowrider crew sure know how to have a good time 😎

The whole crew were friendly and welcoming, 90's hip hop was playing the entire time (which is awesome if you love that shit, which I absolutely do 😃), and the cruisde at the end was amazing.

They stopped traffic on the Gold Coast Highway until every car had rolled out (quite a feat, as there were over 100!) 2x2, then we cruised via Surfers Paradise along the Main Beach and Esplanade down to Broadbeach, where we literally took over an entire street, stretching 2 blocks 😈

There are probably way too many photos and videos here, but they really show what a great time it was. 

An absolutely amazing way to see out 2024, and  we'll definitely be back next year🤙

I got admit, I’ve never seen a Suzuki low rider before. I’ve seen Ford,Buick, and Chevy low riders. Just not a Suzuki, that one is a first! Cool!

I didn't even know Lowriders were a thing - incredible amount of cars there. Why anyone would want their car to bounce around like that is beyond me - I was getting queasy when they were parked.

I certainly hope you wore your baseball cap backwards and were dripping with bling, esp a big clock like Flavor Flav. What a weirdo.

I know - and they spend thousands on the suspension and "Hydro" setups to make that all happen, plus those (very cool, I feel) Lowrider wheels are worth a fortune too!

Ohhh their beautiful when their laid low Fitzy! From the Dayton's to the crazy paint jobs, true works of art. As far as bouncing, when you drop that ass and bounce it up and down, we call that a lap dance bro! 

Thank goodness we have variation in the species. All I want is a car that will get me to point B then home again without catching fire or dropping vital mechanical bits in it's wake.

If I wanted it to bounce up & down I'd have to wear a Flavor Flav clock and I'm NOT doing it.
