Start of the Car Show Season 2025 here in Central Maryland. Hope you all are doing well and have your beautiful chariots ready to show. To start the 2025 season, Street Survivors of Maryland had their Cruise-In opener on April 13, 2025. This was a non-judged show with about 125 cars in attendance. Out of those, 4 were Pontiacs (pictured below). As a special note, the 1970 resto-mod GTO Judge is for sale for $80,000.00. If anyone is interested...and has the money...lol, let me know and I will try to get more information on the car. Stay safe out there. Enjoy the picture, (because I know you all love pictures).

Thanks for sharing. If it is a true Judge - $80k is not bad.

It's a true Judge...heavily modified. Guy had a ton of modern modified upgrades throughout and a LS motor.

Attended the Romancing the Chrome Car Show hosted by the Bel Air Corvette Club in Jarrottsville, Maryland on 4/19/2025. About 175  beautiful cars in attendance, with 7 Pontiacs represented. I always talk up the fact of how rare it is to see a 1960 Pontiac. Lo and behold, another 1960 Pontiac showed up at the Show...making me look like a fool...lol. It was nice to see another one on the road. The 1971 Pontiac GTO Judge placed in it's class, but I can't remember what the class was. I think it was Original/Modified. It's always great seeing so many people enjoy looking at the cars and relating their personal memories and stories. Enjoy the pics.

Nice story N great pic's.   Thankz for sharing.  Should have invited the other 60 owner to join here so you could maybe plan to meet up for area shows. That's how the Michigan minitribe of FP was started.

JUSTA6,

I did invite him and the 1963 Catalina Convertible owner (Tom), who was next to me at the show...lol. Tom had a lot of questions about Pontiacs, since this was his first classic Pontiac he has owned. Told him about all the wonderful articles, information, how-to sites, the great members here willing to help, and of course, pictures ForeverPontiac has to offer.

Attended the Belvedere Elementary PTA Sock Hop on 4/25/2025. The PTA put a call out for classic cars. We had 5 cars show up. Two were Pontiacs. The students really enjoyed seeing the cars. In particularly the "Shark Buggy" that came all the way from Delaware.

Attended the Odenton Volunteer Fire Department 2025 Car Show on 4/26/2025. It was wet and wild. Ten cars attended the show, out of which two were Pontiacs. The Venutra took the highly coveted Kid's Choice Award.

...and last for the weekend....attended the Asphalt Angels Spring 2025 Car Show in Bowie, Maryland on 4/27/2025. About 75 cars were in attendance, out of which 10 cars were Pontiacs. Two Pontiacs placed in the Original Classic category. A 1966 GTO and a 1964 Pontiac. Since there were multiple models there, I couldn't specifically determine which cars placed. I'll let you be the judge...lol. It was a great show.

Enjoy the pics.

Attended the Four Alarm Collector Car Show at the Fire Museum sponsored by the Chesapeake Region AACA in Lutherville, Maryland on 5/10/2025. Absolutely gorgeous weather with about 80 cars in attendance. Of those, there were 6 beautiful Pontiacs represented. Toured the Fire Museum...absolutely fine examples of fire apparatus, horse drawn units, steam powered units, early gas powered units, displays of a fire office and dispatch from about the 1800's to around 1945. If you ever get to Lutherville, Maryland...I would highly recommend to stop by and take the tour. Enjoy the Pontiac pics and stay safe out there.

Attended the 3rd Annual Maryland Mayhem Car and Truck Show in Westminster, Maryland on 5/24/2025. Extremely nice show with about a 60/40 truck to car ratio. It was nice to see more trucks than cars at a show. About 300 cars and trucks were in attendance. Out of those, 7 beautiful Pontiacs were in attendance that I saw. The Ventura took a Top 50 Best of Show award. The trophy was very unique to say the least. So, for your viewing pleasure....pictures...lol.3rdAnnualMarylandMayhemCarandTruckShow2025jpg1.thumb.jpg.b2754ce523dd0265c55e8c98cea09d57.jpg

Attended the Street Survivors of Maryland Memorial Day Weekend Car Show on 5/25/2025 in Severn, Maryland. I am very proud to be a member of Street Survivors. We did an excellent car show to remember our fallen service members as well as those who were wounded and those currently serving. Always remember to thank those who have, and are currently, serving our country. About 170 cars and trucks were in attendance. Ten excellent examples of Pontiacs were in attendance. The Ventura managed to take a Top 35 Best of Show out of a very strong field of cars. Great job and well done Street Survivors. And guess what. You get to see pictures.

Attended the High Rollers Memorial Day Car, Truck & Bike Show in Bowie Maryland on May 26, 2025. About 175 fabulous cars were in attendance. Out of those, a somewhat diverse field of Pontiacs ranging from my '60 Ventura, a '64 LeMans 6 cylinder 4 speed manual,  a 1971 GT-37, and of course the GTO's and Trans AM. Of course....picturHighRollersMemorialDayCarTruckandBikeShow2025withTrophy.thumb.jpg.a6668808213ea4af8b625b5c45804597.jpges!

Attended the 13th Annual Harry Cooper VFW Post 160 Car and Truck Show in Glen Burnie, Maryland on June 8, 2025. Approximately 60-70 cars were in attendance. Apparently I missed the memo for Convertibles to come to the show. About 10% were convertibles on a scattered, showery day. Three excellent examples of Pontiacs were in attendance, (two convertibles)...lol. All three received Awards. So...for your enjoyment, customary pictures are included.

Attended the Hot Rods at Lincoln Tech Car Show, Columbia Maryland campus, on June 14, 2025. Hosted by The Royal GTOs & Pontiacs Club. About 65 cars in attendance. Twelve were Pontiacs: 10  of those garnering Top 50 Best of Show Awards. Somewhat of  a low turn out compared to last years event...but rain was threatening the whole day. So, as usual, my customary collage is attached for your enjoyment.

Attended the Annapolis Elks Lodge 622 Faces of Valor Car Show on June 22, 2005 in Edgewater Maryland. It was a great time, in sweltering heat, honoring those who serve in our armed forces...in particular, 3 Veterans that were wounded while serving. One wounded Veteran received $10,000 scholarships for his daughters. Another wounded Veteran received a bass boat allowing him to take other wounded Veterans out fishing with him, and lastly...another wounded Veteran received a 30' camper. Faces of Valor supports wounded Veterans, First Responders, and Police Departments with their needs. A great organization to donate to. A BIG Thank You to all that serve.

There were about 75-100 cars and bikes in attendance. Out of those, 9 were excellent examples of Pontiacs. Enjoy the pictures.

Attended the Cartistic Car and Art Show at Arundel Mills Mall Maryland Live Casino in Hanover Maryland on June 28, 2025. About 100 cars entered with 4 Pontiacs being represented...in the blistering, hot sun. All 4 Pontiac placed in the Top 50 Best of Show. This show was like the Fast & Furious movies with some classic cars competing against highly customized foreign makes...so it was nice to see that all 4 Pontiac placed. Here are the pics. Enjoy.

Normally, I don't post our car club's cruise-in nights. But this time, I have to make an exception...lol. About a month ago, a friend of mine stopped by the cruise-in and asked if I was at the Auto Zone parts store about a month ago. I had not. He said my car was at the Auto Zone. So another 1960 Coronado Red Pontiac is either in the Glen Burnie area, or just passing by. Didn't think any more about it since it hadn't been seen since. Lo and behold, on our July 11, 2025 cruise-in night, a Coronado Red 1960 Pontiac Ventura Sports Coupe pulls into the lot and parks across from my 1960 Ventura. What a complete and welcomed surprise. The owner stated that he lives about 5 minutes from the cruise-in lot and sees me pass his house every Friday night on my way to the cruise-in. He has owned the car for ten years. Basically original...slightly modified with Tri-power added and an automatic floor shifter. So, at least for one night, we had a pair of 1960 Pontiac Ventura Sports Coupe bookends...lol. Enjoy the pictures.

I have a brother??? LOL very cool.

Rick,

Did you say you live in the Glen Burnie area? Lucy, my ‘72 Lemans Sport convertible, was built here in Pontiac and, according to the records I have, it was shipped to Admiral Pontiac in Glen Burnie Maryland!

You wouldn’t happen to know of any pictures of Admiral Pontiac would you?
