A little late...I just realized I had missed posting this.

Attended the 50th Anniversary Severna Park 4th of July Parade. This is the first parade I had ever been involved in, and considered quite an honor to have been asked to participate in. The weather was extremely hot, with lots of cars having over heating issues, but we all survived...lol. Lots of spectators lined the streets and really appreciated seeing the cars. It was a great time and a really enjoyable experience. So... here are the pics, because we all love pictures...lol. Enjoy.

Sitting here waiting for the rain to end before going to the Urbana POCI National Capitol Pontiac Car Show. Meanwhile....

Attended the Chesapeake High Car Show 2025 with about 100 cars in attendance. Out of those, 7 were Pontiacs. A large crowd was on hand and they managed to get the show in before the forecasted rain. The awards were for basically Top 20, with Top 10 for student cars and Top 10 for all other cars. They did not announce the make of the cars as they handed out the awards, so I don't know if any Pontiacs placed. Anyways, enjoy the pics.

Attended the National Capitol POCI 42nd All Pontiac Car Show 2025 in Urbana, Maryland on September 7, 2025. Started out with a drizzly rain, but cleared up to be a beautiful day. With it drizzling, I got a 2 hour late start. Arrived at the show late (15 minutes before end of registration), turned the car off to get my registration. Went to start the car to park it on the show field...nothing, not even a click! Went through a mental check list to try and solve the problem. Ended up banging on the starter with a hammer...success...lol. First time that has happened. Don't know if it was a moisture problem since the roads were wet or if the solenoid is starting to go bad. Hasn't been a problem since. And then, I run out of storage on my phone to take pictures...lol...so pictures posted are from other Pontiac nuts. There were 99 Pontiacs in attendance. Majority of them were absolutely stunning examples representing their model years. It was an excellent and enjoyable show, despite my early problems. The Best of Show winner reminded me of the Thom Mcan promotional in 1966/1967. So, first collage is Part 1. I will add others as time allows.

Attended the 1st Annual Queen of the Chesapeake Car Show 2025 on September 13, 2025 at the Maryland Yacht Club in Pasadena, Maryland. It was an absolutely beautiful day with a bonus of being down by the water. Only 2 Pontiacs were represented out of a strong field of 75 excellent cars. None of the Pontiacs placed.

I know this is a Pontiac website, but I simply couldn't help myself with posting a non-Pontiac car that was being represented at the show. This car was an incredible, well restored, original, museum worthy example of a 1959 Dodge Coronet with a restored Owens boat and trailer. The car and boat was stunning. Ironically, it did not place in either the Commadores Award, Queen of the Chesapeake Award, nor in the Top 15 Best of Classics Award. The Show's promoter and I was absolutely shocked that it did not place. Just goes to show you never know, nor can you guess, which cars will do well in a car show.

Variety is the spice of life, so enjoy the pics.

Attended the 1st Annual Street Thumpers Car Show 2025 on September 20, 2025 in Millersville, Maryland. This was a very well run car show, especially for their first time around. Unfortunately, only 20 cars attended. In defense, there were 3 other car shows and 1 swap meet going on at the same time in very close proximity. On the bright side, every car got an award. Two Pontiacs were in attendance. A great time was had by all. Enjoy the pics.

Attended the 1st Annual Anne Arundel Firefighters Emerald Society Car Show 2025 on September 21, 2025 in Pasadena, Maryland. Great weather with about 75 cars in attendance. Out of those, 3 were Pontiacs, with one taking the Heritage Award. It was a very enjoyable car show and a great job done by the Emerald Society, especially being their first car show. This was a benefit show supporting fallen firefighters and their families. Pictures for your enjoyment.

Attended the Royal GTOs and Pontiacs Fall Car Show 2025 at the Sykesville Maryland American Legion Post 223 on October 5, 2025. About 170 beautiful cars were in attendance with about 60% of those being Pontiacs. It was nice to see that the original/slightly modified restoration cars out numbered the highly modified restoration/custom cars. It was excellent weather and well attended. Too many Pontiacs to take individual pictures of each car this time...so you get line shots...lol. Enjoy.

Been a while since I've posted. I have gotten to the age to where I can no longer walk car shows, standing for long periods of time, to take pictures. But I was able to get a nice unique picture while participating in a car show. I've titled it "Reflections of the Past". Hopefully, you can see my 1960 Pontiac Ventura's reflection off of the body of a 1967 GTO. Enjoy.
