Thank you all for your thoughts and condolences...They are truly appreciated...

Now that reality has finally set in...I have installed the brake rotors, pads and flushed out the old original brake fluid and Replaced it with DOT 5 fluid...Including purging the old fluid out of the ABS system also...I wanted to document the process but that didn't happen...I also didn't clean up and detail the calipers and related parts as well as I wanted too...So I basically ran Quickly through the whole system and did it all in less than four hours from start to finish...I am extremely happy with the functional results...The car had excellent brakes (factory 1LE set up) to begin with...Now I don't have to be nearly as aggressive on the brakes to get it to literally stand up on it  nose...and the stopping distances have very noticeably improved all the way around...

Will be doing a run down my private road course..AKA..The Blue Ridge Parkway...Within the next couple of weeks...That will be the true test of how good they really are..16546173833026229845393850514692.jpg

Okay - I'm officially jealous. The Blue Ridge Parkway is on my bucket list to cruise from NC to VA, or vice-versa, especially in the fall colors. I drove back from NC after Halloween last fall. The colors in northern NC, VA, and WV were amazing at that time of the year.

Thanks for sharing your update Two Lane. I am still breaking in my first 100 miles on my Powerstop rotors and pads on Black Beauty.

Yes it is a really nice scenic drive...I know every nook and cranny from Roanoke Va to below Asheville NC..It is only 45 minutes from my driveway to access the Parkway at Fancy Gap Virginia...

You should do a picture tour, show us all the picturesque stops and scenic look outs we should visit someday.
