The local shop has the hustler with that 21 Hp Kawasaki your talking about . It has a fabricated deck . Which the jd doesn’t 

So - the gig with a fab deck is that if your mowing is heavy duty, then it's the way to go. A pressed steel one is for neat suburban lawns only. Having said that, my Husky is 17 years old and the pressed steel deck is fine. I took it off and coated it with thick rust sealing paint and chassis sealer. It's never going to rust. If you look after your stuff, it'll last. Most peeps just use it then push it into the shed until next time. Show it a little love and it'll last an awful long time. Get the Hustler. In fact, get 2 and send one over here for my anticipated Christmas present!

Kiwi - The Beach Hop is very similar to a traveling car show with different stops or check points. The car show that I can think of that is similar to your Beach Hop is Cruisin' the Coast that occurs in early October along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I did it in 2002 with my dad and I had a great time.

Then I thought I would tune in a radio station … power had been off the Battery …

one speaker in the rear parcel tray wasn’t working … wire behind the radio was at fault … then when you crank up the sounds …. There was a rattle ... passenger side front speaking was at fault. 

so i pulled it out and fitted a " temporary" Fusion brand 5 1/2 inc one so we have sounds for the 5 day cruise !... then i got to crank up the sounds .... to see how well it could perform.... and i wax the girl .. bit of led zepp. paul simons... cat stevens,, and some new stuff from split enz. foo fighters and metalica.... as you do !!! 

 hay its a big car !! it takes a while to wax. and i go old school wax at that !!!

Thanks mate. every time i work on it i find hidden, things!, when i pulled the radio out, its inside the glove box, i found some old Cruise itinerys and a packet of fuses 

Then i cleaned the Trunk and the rag on top of the spare wheel was a old lemans race tee shirt looked to be from the 70's 

The pervous owner lived half the year here in nz ( was my neigbour) and the other half in the uk, but i know he was always traveling around europe and usa. I bet he got that tee in France !

Have some exciting news !!! 

it looks as if our family is about to grow! the boss has approved of a new family member...... 

watch this space, another road trip is on the cards !!

The boss got her new tv fitted today . It’s the 98 inch Samsung…

all 94 kg .. it was fun getting it on the wall bracket!

And no that’s not my exciting news !!! That’s hers !!! Hahaha

my good mate down the road sold me a couple of lambs !!! 
 

This is how two lambs look after I processed them … the boss stuck them in frezzer bags and in the chess freezer … most likely the kids will get given some too 👍

I consider myself a vegan but like you I prefer to run the vegetables through some kind of an animal first.  

As the old expression goes, there is room in this world for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy!
