Hi everyone.  My name is David and I just joined.  I have a 1942 Torpedo that I bought from a lifelong friend and car collector.  It was about 80% restored when he passed away.  I am in the process of finishing up the details.

Nice acquisition! Good luck with the final 20%. Enjoy and share photos as you progress.

Awesome car. A friend of mine also has a '42 Torpedo. His was built in January of 1942, just about 5-6 weeks before Pontiac shut down and converted to WWII production.

One almost identical was on one of the TV shows this weekend.  Can't remember which one I was watching.  Welcome to FP.
