Also.....IMHO.... Avoid Vector. There's tons of stories on ls1gto.com that have been covered up because their a sponsor there, one of which where they blew a engine... and several where they went elsewhere and had someone else tune the car, and they got much MUCH better results and found out Vector's was shit.... Also Camaro5 has some interesting stories where a GM Tech that literally writes the ECM software and designs ECMS can in and served Kurt or one of his workers proving that GM can track how many times the ECM has been flashed on the Camaro ECM's. (Kurt said they can't, GM lab guy said yes with extensive details, Kurt was quite after that...) And no... this isn't biased from my dealings with Chris.... Get your own custom tune from someone you trust is what I'm saying. A Dyno shop, or Trinity like i wrote above. trinity is nice because you can flash and adjust some parameters yourself, and go back to stock if you want.

Look up Diablosport Trinity..... It's... AMAZING.. to say the least. You buy it, it's basically a DashHawk on sterioids if you know what they are..... It can monitor and log any PID the car monitors and has over 100mb of space to do so.. so you can do hours of logs. Also has a built in code reader.. save you $ when crap happens for you and family/friends... especially when its something stupid like the gasgap CEL like I had the other week...... and needless to say, it includes tuning. It comes with a "boxed" tune, made for your vehicle/engine... not customized for you at all. You will gain some power from it regardless, and for G8 GT's you can enable/disable Displacement on Demand for more power, ex if you are tracking it you can turn it off, going a trip, turn it on. You can get a custom tune made for your vehicle.. there's guys on their Forums, one in particular I know that has personally done at this point over 300 cars.. you log like 8 different parameters with the Trinity, then send the log files to him and your car's original base tune file, and he goes to town and adjust spark advance and all that jazz, sends you a tune file back you load into the Trinity, then flash to the car. Then you have to do some more logging, and then he will further revise the tune till it's spot on. He charges about $100 or so for that. there's other guys on there that do it but he's the most experienced. As of right now... it only supports ECM's. Backtrack 2003-2006: With girl for 3+ years someodd all through high school. Senior year I had a grand or two saved up, was gonna get her a ring that summer after graduation. What.. two weeks before senior prom, dumped me. Went with a very close friend of mine, promised me a dance, told me to FORD off that night instead... tagged me along for 6 months in a emotional roller coaster ride from hell, till she started going out with the guy I found out she was cheating on me for months with while we were still together . Backtrack 2008: Long story short, dated a friend of mine that I had known since I was 10 who lived out in Minnesota now. Lasted half a year, but took a week off work summer, she came here, took a week off later that summer, went out there, right when airfair peaked, like $700 for freaking two way ticket.. and broke up with me the day i got out there. YAY. Turns out she was having "feelings" for a coworker of hers.. and she tells me this after I shell out $700 and miss a week of work. Needless to say the what 5 days I was there was awkward and turmoil after that. Backtrack, few months after that in Fall 2009. Lol. Lol. Did another out of state thing. Lololol... She was on G6P so I kinda don't wanna post details, but when I flew down to meet her, same thing happened. She broke up with me down there, and found out it was all a sham to get her ex to purpose to her from what I take.... That... was quite a roller coaster to say the least given after I got home I didn't hear from her for 2 weeks almost. Train wreck. Failed a class and came close with two others. Couldn't do shit since I was so whacked up and didn't know what happened. Annnnd.. I've been stuck in the friend zone since then for what.. almost 2 years?

Thankies That show, we only hung out there for like 4 hours or so.. it was going on for another 2-3 but we bugged out for the photoshoot. There was a kid with a G5 GT there that exemplified the crowd. He was putting 93 Octane in. He was not tuned. At all. All he had was a intake. He didn't get that it did nothing and he's wasting 20cents/g. Shortly after we left lol.

Actually, for less than 7,000mi the price on that is right. Normally I would say $18,000-20,000 AT MOST for a 2006 GTO.. but the mileage on that puts it well up there. Things to check if you do change your mind to look at it: Top of the rear seats neat the rear deck. These are notourois for the seams to burst from being in the sun. Have them patch it before you pick up like i did. Check how hard it is to put the key in/out. If you had to use real effort, you will need a new ignition lock cylinder.. the new one. The one in the GTO stock wears and locks up, but with 7,000mi I doubt this one will have a issue, but eventually you will need to replace it with the new design one, which is covered by a TSB anyway free from any GM dealer. Check the hood. The leading edge of all GTO's are know to get tiny tiny rust spots on the leading edge of the hood.

Lol. thats the incident that sparked it all. It was at OTB last summer. They had the "Dishrag" award the NJ GTO club gave out to BigRedGoat (The owner of the NJ GTO club and him DO NOT get a long and it was a slap in the face). Melisa and Al, of GONE got in the owners face about it, and ended up smashing the trophy in half, since BigRedGoat was not there to defend himself and it was a slap in the face. Then "Grimace" got up, who was part of both GONE and NJ GTO.. and insulted Melisa, calling her a bitch and getting defensive about it. The owner of NJ GTO club did appolgize for it and said it was a bad idea and GONE accepted it.. but the Grimace, just because he said the word Bitch, gets to get attacked cause of it. Remind me later to find the video. It will take digging.

Sweet jesus. Yep. As horrible as it is... that is the norm on LS1GTO. You can see a few guys like Jrzy Goat and a few others that are good guys in there.. but it's just these assclowns that go on there and post 99% of the time.... There's one guy on here that the guys on ls1gto ATTACKED. And I mean attacked. He called one of the members, LS1Melisa a Bitch. In itself.. not good, but nothing that warrented the responce. They found his MySpace.. Facebook... Blog.. pictures of him from 10 years ago in high school and started photoshopping just obsense and nasty things.. went through blog entries from high school.. ripped him apart and labled him "Grimace" since he was kinda tubby and drove a Purple GTO and had a purple polo on at a meet once. They found him on other forums he was on and got him too. It was just.. .redic. They are nasty over there. I actualyl love that GrandAm...
