  1. So what are you getting to replace it Mark?
  2. My coworker owns doesnotgiveashit.com. He has [email protected] as a email lol .
  3. LOL yea. My sister has been married for about 2.5 years now. Knew it wasn't gonna be long. It was frightening. By the time this baby is my age, I will be 46 o.O
  4. I'm an Uncle! Was born at 4:09pm 7lbs 9oz and 20" long My Mom and him (Jackson) My Dad and him Mom and Dad (My Sister and her Husband) My other sister Me
  5. Actually if you think about it it's possible. Problem with normal engines being upside down is the seize when all the oil goes to the top. Suburu's boxers are horizontally opposed.... so being upside down or right side up.. really doesn't matter as much as a normal engine I would think.
  6. I heard bacon?? That place is actually not even 30 minutes from me. Rosie-Blake's Chocolates. It lies though.. It's not Plainville, it's New Britain but near the border. Like 5 minutes from me when I'm at class, right down the road 200 Myrtle St New Britain, CT 06053 Linky to where it is
  7. That's exactly why you need that cron job Also then you never need to worry and it just does it everyday. Runs directly from shell so no timeouts from apache/php/sql. G6P Grew to big for that a long time ago. Especially with shared hosting limits.
  8. Jim just set a cron job for it. Much easier. Then you can just restore it manually from shell/ssh if it ever happens again. The forums backup feature NEVER works right. It uses PHP and therefore is limited to the amount of memory the server sets for php, and will time out LOTS of times to apache before it finishes a querry and you get a incomplete backup. This is the BEST way. cd /path/to/directory/with/backups suffix=$(date +%Y.%m.%d) mysqldump --opt -uMYSQLUSERNAME -pSQLUSERPASSWORD -hSQLSERVERHOSTNAMEIFNOTLOCALMACHINE DATABASENAME > /path/to/directory/with/backups/DATABASENAME.$suffix.sql tar -zcf YOURDBNAME.$suffix.sql.tar.gz DATABASENAME.$suffix.sql rm DATABASENAME.$suffix.sql Fill in the parts i wrote in capital and path to your directory. it just uses mysql to dump the database itself to a .sql file. Since theyre like... 600mb+, it gzips it up to be like 1/5 of the size. I made this a while back, cron runs it on G6P at like 3am or something every day so I always have a backup. I use rsync to remote mirror the sites directories, including the backups, every day.
  9. Did you change servers Jim? (IE IP Address is different). That would explain why Joe can't access the site directly cause his ISP's DNS is slow to propigate. Joe try this https://store.opendns.com/setup/operatingsystem/windows-xp Replaces your ISP's DNS with OpenDNS... propigates much faster, should get better results. Madness?
  10. The printer was busted. The guy that owns the shop said he'd email it to me. I messaged him on ls1gto... that was Sunday night. Nothing yet =/. All i got is this photo..
  11. Thanks Joe! I've been missing your calls. Last night I was at my buddies setting fireworks off and lighting myself partially on fire briefly. Saturday I was having dinner with my parents, and Friday I was up on the pike watching people get pulled over for doing stupid shit lol.
  12. I wont miss it. Their parts for the GTO's are crap, most notibly the Headers. Two guys I know with them said they rusted after one winter, and fitment is crap and always have small leaks cause of that.
  13. Lulz One I had the other day
  14. Well thing is even the Vauxhaul Monaro parts are all made in Austrailia. All were based off the Holden Monaro.
  15. I overpaid, $19k last May. Could have gotten $17-18k but one owner from a dealership and GM certified, couldn't get them to come down understandibly. I got hosed on my G6. They tried to give me $7,000 (55,000mi, 2006 GTP traded in 2009). KBB said like $8,000-$8,500 trade in price. I got $7,700 for it. Saw the next week it was for sale $11,900. It was gone the week after. They made $4,000+ on it. Granted, it needed new tires though.
  16. I really like the Vauxhaul rear bumper..........
  17. Not sure. I want to make 400whp on a Dynopack dyno (not a Mustang). Prob a cam and heads and stuff. Once I do that, Blower or something. For Headers I'm getting Kooks 1 7/8".
  18. Surprised I haven't made a Progression Thread over here yet........................ Anyway. 2005 Pontiac GTO 6.0L LS2 T-56 6 Speed Manual 17" Rims Cyclone Grey Metallic Bought it May 2009 with 37,500mi. Currently as of August 2010 57,000mi. Daily driver for now, once it's paid off Summer of 2011 I'm getting a daily and keeping the GTO safe and sound. 19. I................................. Like turtles
  20. Where have I heard this before? Oh yea, me like a year and a half ago I had a like 10 page long thread in our mod section detailing my endevure to get a GTO. After 6 months I finally got it haha. Everything about savings and crap and your Dad is about the same too lol .
