Jeremy, i can understand why you have been after this car for 2 years!! its very clean!!! a great buy i see what Wrongway sees, that clear is old and you are going to have to repair or replace it at some stage. todate Wrongway has done the best restoration of his wheel, Fitzy choose to use a aftermarket unit which looks very cool. i chose to redo mine in solid black, and even after all my hard work sanding, i see some fine lines in the paint.

Aaron, the switch shouldn’t be hard to access … justA take the dash pad off and because it’s at the top you should be able to get at it nicely Pretty sure there is only a few screws holding the dash pad on like in my 64 .. wrongway can confirm that when he pops in …..

The motor came with the commodore fly by wire pedal . I will modify it to take the Pontiac pedal plate … it is a very cool stainless steel trimmed thing with the word “power “ on it

AH , mate, its JustA loom! nothing scarey about it at all. You see what it looks like once the sparky has chopped all the crap off it down to a basic efi system... gotta remember i have already "been there done that " on the little ford.. it was my learning curve. i am getting him to delete the maf sensor and replace it with a intake air temp sensor, and add a output signal for a cable drive box, so i can run the factory speedo off the electronic transmission, also adding out puts to temp oil and tell tail light for the alternator. Oh and add another 400mm to the e throttle too, since i am sticking with left hand drive, remeber this came out of a right hook commy http://www.customwiringsolutions.co.nz/

Another rainy day here in nz !!! so I removed the loom from my ve/G8 ls2 motor This will be heading to a specialist in Hamilton who will reduce it down to a basic 4 wire hook up .. he will be removing all the corrugated coverings and replace them with braided black . Extend the loom for the computer, so I can mount it inside the car and upgrade the program in the factory comp to remove the vats . Along with a tune.

What a great idea down side is … I dont think there is enough spare pontiacs to go planting them ! Sooo with this beer infused idea of a repaint … that’s going to lose all her history .. that will mean you can’t retire yet ! As you will have this great big fat panel n paint bill

True and your nose is blue Yip 90 weight mate … here it’s called hypo90 but that only for a non limited slip unit .. bet yours is standard like mine .. I justA used 90 🍻 This is where last Indians experance comes in

if your doing axle bearings mate, i would certainy change the diff oil drop the drive shaft and pop the head out, give everything a good clean, and inspect it, stick it back together with fresh oil... one happy happy joy joy diff opps sorry that a picture of me and Fitzy ! you can tell which ones fitzy,, he has no pants on ...or is it fitzy and wrongway ???? i really cant tell !

Fabio, that is so cool that you have the information that you already have,, can you get the import information from the prevous owner, that will have the bill of sale info from state side with the owners details. then you have a path to track where your gem came from... i think its so important to not only own a classic, but to try and document its history if you can !... sounds really dumb, but then you get to inform people who ask you about your car, what and where it came from. Clearly you have a passion for Pontiacs, and its justA fun to have that in its self !!... i like your thinking Wrongway about the black chrome/ candy.. but you have to theme your car to it... for me, sorry fitzy. i will want full on chrome. the front bumper is ok, but...thats justA me. i fancy the girl to shine like she was brand new if i am going to pay money.... but for me its about showing her age gracefully... well thats my idea for the 64 ... The 57, is getting fully rechromed, max !!!!63 has what looks like good bumpers, i have left them sitting out side my shed door, so if i get a wet day, and have nothing to do, i am going to clean them..... fitzys thinking at this point wtf is kiwi on about.
