  1. I feel for you buddy! Damn shame about the trailer. Looks like it’s a black locust tree!? If so wow! Those are one of the heaviest trees per square inch & pound per pound. I had six on my property when I built my house, I took them all down, to problematic for my liking. It’s great that your neighbors pitched in & helped clean up! Those are good folks.
  2. Dam Steve, what a nightmare! Glad you’re all ok! JustA got to keep putting one foot ahead of the other.
  3. Oh you know! Should we have fries or chips dear? No not baked potato!
  4. Don’t apologize for something that was closer to Gods laws than now! Not preaching or being all biblical, but read Deuteronomy 22:5 or 1 Corinthians 16:13 or Leviticus 18:22. I could give more, but the point is men are supposed to be men & act like men & women are to act like women! It was much more that why back then. Part, just part of the problems of the today is that all went away more & more with each new generation. DON’T miss interpret the above! A man is to treat a woman like a precious jewel, be fair, be kind not degrading. Seek her council in matters of proper importance. If you don’t believe in God, than you can ignore all of this! Maybe that’s the problem of today! Thanks JustA! Great info & pics!
  5. Bingo!! I’ve said it before! Modern man is an arrogant moron! Sorry! Not really! He thinks he’s so smart but there is very very little he has discovered or invented! He has improved upon things, but discovered/invented? Not much! Indoor plumbing? 6000 years ago. Paved roads 6000 years ago. Calculator? 4500 years ago. Cruse ships with running water, swimming pools & powered bulge pumps 2800 years ago. War ships with missiles, 3000 years ago.
  6. Thanks guys! Great coverage! Way better than the legacy news media! Accurate & unbiased, who would a thought! What strikes me is while we all love our own cars & baby them. When you look at all the different makes & models of car we all know & remember, but forget about till we see them again, is, I’m like a kid in the candy store! I want that one, no that one, no that one, oh please can I just have one of each?!
  7. Well actually neither of us ever really bought into the whole commercial industry shtick! We spend our time together & enjoy that! To us it’s a little like a friend we know who throws a birthday party for herself! Seems a little narcissistic! Our daughter did have us for dinner & gave us a wonderful gift.
  8. Take care of yourself buddy! Sometimes you just gotta being up the creek with no paddle. Which reminds me of a sticker I saw on a car not to long ago. It said “shit creek surviver” Here’s an oldie from 48 years ago!
  9. I would JustA make a 50/50 solution of water & muratic acid in a pail or pan & let the cover soak, but the polished pump needs treated differently. The muratic acid will etch the polished pump to gray! Do you have a pressure washer? If so I would try that. Anything that’s polished is going to have the finish ruined by a harsh cleaner/acid bath. Since you have the parts off, I would also some stiff bristled brushes. Especially some that are braided wire, as those will flex a lot
  10. Yes! Muratic acid! 1/3 of a gallon to the system. Run it for 10 minutes, drain flush clean water, drain. See what it looks like! If needed repeat! Steve, it's ok you can call! She won't mind. If all you need is to move the car for right now there is a quicker way.
  11. Steve out with my bride. 50 years tomorrow. What I need to tell is to involved to write now. So please call me on my cell so we can discuss the situation.
  12. Things in there proper order & as you can! What else can you do, but remember this. None of us are getting out alive, but the lucky ones get out happy & full filled! I think Ozzie is going to be one of those.
  13. Summit racing shows them as well. https://www.summitracing.com/search/year/1987/make/pontiac/model/fiero/department/brake-systems
  14. Bear, for what it’s worth what you described in question 1 sounds like rear torque steer. If so, I would guess this is due to unequal rear shaft lengths. This phenomenon, if it is the case, is usually caused by the longer shaft whipping or more accurately not turning in a true circle without deflecting. There are a few things that can be done to counter this if you find that to be the issue & feel the need to address it. Question 2, is if they are the type of calipers I think I remember them to be, they are a pain to rebuild the internal part that is the E brake. You need special tools, but, NAPA sells rebuild units, at least here. #NUG 9717255B & 55A right & left respectively.
  15. What? No burnout? 😁! Sweet! Take a bow Tim!
  16. My thoughts are with you & Ozzie buddy! Nothing else I can really say! It’s hard & nothing any of us can say to ease that pain!
  17. Happy Birthday buddy! I out grew all mine after last year! I’m happy for ya buddy!
  18. Dan, I think everyone has conveyed that the most important thing is it pleases you first & for most! That said, for me there are very few cars I have ever driven or seen or even owned that I didn’t feel could be improved! Power, handling, braking or subtle interior or exterior looks, but that’s just me! I have built everything from full race to full custom & even a couple 100% original! To me all of them take the same amount & level of work, detail & effort!
  19. Blown 3800 would be pretty impressive for power to weight ratio. Plus there are quite a few upgrades you can do to up that power plant as well! And a good time will be had by all! 😁
  20. The Mac is one of those amazing feats of engineering! No doubt! So I hope folks won’t think me to crazy when I say, that ability to create such a feat did not come from human intellect, but from a God given gift to those that created it! So why people can’t understand just exactly why we are in the mess we find ourselves in right now is beyond me! Maybe just maybe we have forgotten the most important purpose in our existence!
  21. I don’t know for sure how, but I think there’s a guy who occupies a white house somewhere south of you that is responsible for all of it. But hey I here he’s passin out money like candy maybe he’ll pay for it. You can call it building back better. Have you ever considered painting the GTO green? Tell him it’s part of the green energy plan! All of that put aside, I feel for you buddy, Karma’s a bitch, but when it lands on the wrong guy; I call that JustA plain wrong!
  22. Kiwi, I think what you actually need, although I’m not a Kiwi so I may be wrong, is a M18FBL-0. This is different than the M18CBL-0. Or at least by what I can make sense of. The M18FBL-0 is the 2724-20 & it looks to be available in NZ. https://nzsafetyblackwoods.co.nz/en/milwaukee-m18-fuel-blower-m18fbl-0-each-04178999 I just don’t know NZ well enough, or at all for that matter, to determine if any of them are close to you. If they are that will have the long nozzle, but like I said I use the long one & it works well for me & possibly you could get the short nozzle from online or fab something. That’s what I’m thinking of doing.
