  1. Thanks bud! I am going down with a trunk full of Gold Eagle products and coming back with hooch! Go figure!
  2. I am heading out Wednesday morning bright and early. I will be in town in time to check in and then I will be heading straight out to the Mardi Gras casino in Cross Lanes for the kick off cruise in event. I hope to win me at least one of them $1000 give aways and perhaps win some more cash in the casino. GE is suppose to come this weekend and rumor has it he has more stump water, this time for Indymanjoe, JUSTA, and notallthere. Hell, I am going to feel like a genuine bootlegger at that point.
  3. Well, well, well...look who came to the party !!!! Welcome to the FP buddy !!! Justa told me about this sweet ride he looked at for ya'! He told me had to twist your arm real hard too to buy otherwise he was going to buy it !!
  4. Definitely....especial if the Roadkill Special and Deerslayer show up.
  5. Theoretically no. You have one drivers ticket. So two separate winners. However, I have won over $125 in trivia questions at $25 a question. I have also won $85 from the free $10 cash the casino gives you (I won on slots). My first year I won the longest distance award which paid for my hotel that year. So I am good at winning cash while I am there.
  6. The 10th annual Charleston Rod Run and Doo Woo will hit Kanawha Blvd (route 60) on Thursday, Oct 1st. The kick off cruise in starts Wednesday night at Mardi Gras casino with two $1000 drawings. I will be there with Lucy for the 8th year in a row. Rumor has it that GE and the Roadkill Special might even show up. Www.charlestonwvcarshow.com
  7. Welcome to FP! I love the Catalina ! I live in the Flint area.
  8. She is not as big an airbag as notallthere! Smells better too! She also a Great hugger!
  9. Havoc congrats on your new ride. I got to test drive a Bonneville with a Northstar V8 in it back at the GTO convention in 2004. It was a helluva ride back then! You won't be disappointed. BTW what model year is it?
  10. Don't get me started on Denny Manner's gorgeous dual quad Riveria GS. Denny was to Buick what Mac McKellar was to Pontiac. Denny developed the indy v6s along with the turbo v6 and v8 programs. I still think the Silver Arrow concept car is one of GM'a best!
  11. Ever see a 2nd gen Trans Am convertible before? It's the only one I've ever seen. Pro Street Astre!!! H-body's rule as JUSTA would say ! Pro Street Dodge Magnum - yes please ! For 6Shooter - this exhaust is whacked up bad ! 6 carbs and blower - what's not to love? Seriously, when was the last time you actually saw a Chevy Concours - the car that replaced the Nova (the equivalent of the Phoenix)? I have no frickin' idea what it is....your basic rat rod? It says its a Chevy. Dunno. Mongo just pawn in game of life! A Luxury Lemans.....it will look better in Cargo Vanna White sometime in the future. This is Indymanjoe's car! He came to visit us for little while. The engine is back to together and he was able to run around Woodward!!!! Way to go Joe !!!! I love this first gen Toranado! Parade of Can Ams - 4 in all. The license plates read CAN AM 1 thru CAN AM 4 too. Another crime fighter - I think Starski is from Hamtramck too! What's that....its spelled S-t-a-r-s-k-y? My bad ! Have another kielbasa and call me in the morning.
  12. Hey GE, I found some South Carolina critters ya' all ain't hit yet, down here on Hilton Head Island. I am sure it's a matter of time though !!!!
  13. Ringo is correct, IMO. It is a lack of accepting the responsibility to turn the car off after being careless or stupid. I think it is more of the latter than the former.
  14. I ain't got the award yet stratman. I figured it will be a few weeks before the mongramming comes in. At least that is what I was told. I will keep posting as time permits here.
  15. That would make it a Boss Hog Slingshot! Sounds like a V8 bar stool and the jet powered one that Pro loves so much!
  16. Saw one of these on Woodward on Friday. I pointed it out to JUSTA6.
  17. Buick Calleberra - with 3 deuces on a Buick Nailhead - very nice. It's for sale at $96k. When was the last time you saw a Dodge Fargo? In the states, they were called A-100s. Leave it to them Canucks. How about a wildly modified convertible? Yes please !!! A big kid Tonka toy This one is for Pro - the wagon that never was. Behold a 90's Pontiac Safari Wagon !!!
  18. Sorry I am on vacation so I am not checking in as often as I should. D151 is the build/cast date of the block. April 15, 1971. A=January, etc. Yes 485428 is the casting number of a 455, but this casting was used from 71 to 74. YC would indicate an automatic transmission (a Th400) for either an A, B, Or F body car in 71. C372079 is the engine unit number. It has no correlation to the VIN. What I have read, the "C" is really a chipped zero on the dye. So the engine or motor unit number is really 0372079.
  19. I think this could be the reason for all the roadkill strikes on GE's car.....a mystical military sticker !!!! Heck, its either that or GE's damn unlucky (read stupid)....he's made roadkill ace twice over.
  20. Since you asked nicely and I finally have a few minutes to post.... So I was out cruising when this crime fighter pulls out in front of me and Lucy...Na na na na na na na na na Beep....beep...beep...beep....their horns went beep, beep, beep With LS2 or small block Chevy power The undisputed King of Woodward...the legendary '67 GTX..a.k.a. the Silver Bullet. It supposedly never lost a street race. Chrysler put a race car on the street essentially. The latest P.O.S. with a Hellcat motor from A$$ Monkey Garage
  21. If we use GE's high octane stuff we won't be able to walk!
  22. GE - it has been far too long since we last got together my friend. Four years is far too long. I am looking forward to seeing you Charleston WV in October (you catching this stratman? LOL) The Ford Explorer is not my fault. That is the rental car company de jour special the wife picked out. Pretty nice vehicle for what we need right now driving to Hilton Head. Heck its go so much room that you can even put a pair of Ram Air IIs in it and still room for luggage. As for the heads, its a start towards something has been kicking around in my brain that I call Project Smokahontas. As far as the stump water is concerned, I am not sure if I should drink it or pour it into Lucy's tank for octane boast. I hear it also serves a topical hair remover, which I am sure notallthere could use. Yummy. I had the chicken 'n dumplins (which have not had in years). GE had the roast beef and gravy with a double helping of fried okra. We ate a Cracker Barrel, so the food was delicious.
