  1. I would like to see someone I know win it. Good luck to you all.
  2. well that was out of left field.
  3. Damn man, thanks for sharing that, what a beautiful and near perfect car. We are all just caretakers of these beauties.
  4. I can tell you from first hand experience that thier customer service is absolutely terrible. You bring up an issue with thier product and they treat you like a villian. Bring up performance issues on thier forum and the moderators will team up and attack your claims as rubbish. My 9500ix has an issue as well as numerous other forum members and they ignore you and accuse you of being crazy. The problem is all in your mind. The Max1 and Max2 both had mounting problems and near non exisent Laser protection. Some units the shell would fall apart in your hands. We won't even delve in to the highway robbery like price of the Max360. Nope, after decades of relying on Escort products to protect me, They have lost me as a customer. My next detector will certainly be a Valentine One.
  5. I second that motion. What a beautiful "darksider"
  6. For half the calendar did we pay half the price too?
  7. Now thats a real beauty! Congrats and welcome.
  8. Finally removed the stupid plastic fuel filter from my carb fuel feed line.
  9. Hey what happened to participants getting a free calendar? or we getting royalties?
  10. This webpage is not available http://www.cafepress.com/foreverpontiac1
  11. Looks like this could be his new ride. A Pro Mod chassis This could all be a work too who knows, a secretive as these shows are its healthy to throw a rumor or two around.
  12. I stand corrected. Justin, or Big Chief is known as "BrandX" over on the Ames Performance Tech forums and this is his latest reply to a thread he created over there. " The Crow saved my life....... And sacrificed its own in the process. This sucks guys. I loved that car and a lot of what I am is owed to it. It's def not rebuildable. Ya some of you will say I shouldn't be street racing, but I don't see how that would change anything at all. I was winning, and making a solid pass when I was clipped in the rear 1/4 just before the finish line. It spun me up into a barrel roll and eventually went end over end from what I was told. I am finally out of the hospital and looking for a fresh Pontiac to build or slide my combo into. Please pass along any and all nice big tire cars 25.2..... Before anyone opens their mouth and closes their minds, I want to make sure it's known that I didn't have insurance, the show doesn't pay me for the car, the show nor the network are paying my hospital bills nor giving me a dime for a new car. I work 18 hour days to pay for my hobbie so eve4y dime is mine. Thanks for all the kind words fellas Text pics or info of cars to 405-401-7409
  13. Chief has had that car since birth, I don't see him giving up on that car any time soon. I have seen race cars come back in much worse condition. Not FWIW, If he wants to build a new bullet for that beast, I would gladly slide that Jim Butler motor between my GTO frame rails.
  14. congrats my friend. Gotta have a departing burnout video before she goes yes? I had one https://youtu.be/ApGIHVaDM2Y
  15. This is going to be one hell of a calendar. Congrats to all of the winners as well all of the participants....every vehicle entered is worthy! nice going GHOST...... what or who is on the cover......no selfies Ringo, please put away your selfie stick.
  16. Along with three others, I helped develop a car show for Mustangs a few years back and we rented the Daytona Motor Speedway for a weekend and I was able to take my Roush Cobra around the track for a lap. Enjoyed it and will never forget that moment. Quite an experience. The car show never realy gained any traction over the years, just too tough to compete with Mustang Week but it was a great experience to be a part of. That Roush Cobra was super fast and rare. Only one of 5 built in 2004.600 RWHP!!! I miss that beast!
  17. Made the 300 mile trek to Daytona to attend our first major car show of the year by attending the 42nd Annual Daytona Turkey Rod Run. A four day event that will see 6K+ show cars in a four day event at the Daytona Motor Speedway. With 4:11 gears, we took a slew of back country single lane highways that provided a true American background for our trip. I'll post pics over the next few days, but I wanted to share the experience of driving under the Daytona speedway via some very steep tunneling. Quite a cool experience.
  18. Stratman's 1968 Pontiac GTO whoooa "Black Betty" bam ba lam, Damn thing gone wild, bam-ba-lamShe's always ready, bam-ba-lam She's all rock steady, bam-ba-lam whoooa "Black Betty" bam ba lam.
  19. Any member that has won within the last 6 months is ineligible for nomination a list of the last 6? I would say stratman if he hasnt been nomintaed in the last six. Any member that has won within the last 6 months is ineligible for nomination a list of the last 6? I would say stratman if he hasnt been nomintaed in the last six. If stratman has already won in the last 6 then I would like to nominate muskoka4 and his 74 Sprint.
