  2. IT is a great pleasure to be a "newbie" on this site as I am a long-time Pontiac enthusiast! My first ownership began back in 1976 when as a High School Senior, I purchased a '64 LeMans from my neighbors. Not a GTO by any means (flat 6, standard brakes), it still started me on my Pontiac journey- which included: 1984 T-1000, 1986 Sunbird, 1988 Firebird (V6), 1996 Grand Prix GT, 2004 GTO (my buddy Mike and I were early adopters of the Monaro/GTO and Pontiac Performance Magazine actually did a photo story on us called "Blood Brothers" as we lived several houses apart), current ride: 2002 Firebird. Sunset Orange Metallic. Apparently, it was one of the last couple of hundred produced and I thoroughly enjoy it! Although I drive a german performance sedan during the work week, I intend to keep my 'Bird for a long long long time! I never had a car with T-tops before this one and I love opening it up and cruising alongside the beach on FL A-1-A, going to the local "Cars & Coffee" once a month.

Looking for a blower motor resistor for a 1973 Pontiac LeMans, US-built. The car HAS air conditioning. The blower control on the dash has FOUR settings, (lo - - hi). The resistor I have in the car now works on the lower three settings, but gives me nothing on 'hi.' I think maybe it needs a very specific part from JUST a 1973 LeMans WITH A/C. Thanks in advance, Gary

  7. 1973 Pontiac Firebird 350 AT Non A/C Original 82784K Miles Completely Untouched View Advert "The ultimate survivor car" 1973 Pontiac Firebird 350 AT Non AC, verdant green, white interior, white vinyl top, all original. Currently registered. The build date is the second week in December in Norwood OH. We just got this car from a super nice elderly lady who sold it to us because she hasn't been able to get in and out of the car for a long time. She wanted us to find it a good home. She took excellent care of the car. She always had it covered with a blanket and a car cover over that when she wasn't driving it. She was the third owner. She got the car from her friends daughter (second owner). Her friend was the original owner. Her friend wanted her to have the car after she passed away so the daughter gave it to her in 1994. Besides one fender being repainted several years ago and the driver's seat being reupholstered and the front carpet replaced, (we replaced the front carpet, the original carpet was falling apart) the car is completely untouched. The dash is in mint original condition. The interior is really nice. Original paint and wheels. The Pontiac 350 runs and drives great (great healthy motor), fires right up and does not smoke at all. The engine compartment is completely untouched. The car drives nice and tight, no raddles. The only rust on the car is at the bottom of the right side of the vinyl top. You can't miss it in the photos. Other than that the car is rust free and very solid. We have two binders worth of service records starting 2-22-1994 with the miles listed at 79114K all the way to the last receipt dated 8-24-2016 82743K miles. The miles today are 82784K. She did not have the original owners service records just hers. We are open to offers. Call for more photos or details 209-462-4300. We also have a video of the car on our Facebook page which you can link through our website gmsports.com or search us on Facebook under GM Sports Salvage and we have a lot more photos on the website. 3800 swap on my 2004 Vibe?

I was thinking about pulling the 3800 Series I from my Grand Prix and swapping it into my 2004 Vibe. Thoughts/comments? Anything I might run into?
  9. Waiting for other people's opinion regarding this car Pontiac . PHOTO FROM FINLAND NEWS PAPER I am also enjoying Pontiac and bicycle! Pretty impressive.
  10. Hello fellow Pontiac enthusiasts, I am here to seek guidance and counsel. I recently had my front suspension break on me. More specifically, the lower shock mount broke free from the front passenger lower A-arm (I think it's the A-arm). Where the lower shock mount is supposed to bolt on, I no longer have those two holes. The metal broke right there, and I do not have one of those holes for the shock to mount to. So here is my conundrum. I am thinking about upgrading my suspension, but I am not sure what to do first or where to begin looking. Currently, I am pretty sure I have the original setup--suspension, drum brakes, 14" PMD 5-star rims/tires. I would like to do any upgrading on somewhat of a budget, as my wife told me "You don't HAVE any money to do this!" But we will see.... I have read somewhere before that some people have swapped in a Corvette suspension/brake/hub setup. Is that even possible? If so, how easy is that? If not a Corvette setup, what would be a direct swap? I am looking for something that is relatively easy to do, as well as relatively easy on the bank account. (see above WIFE comment). So that all are aware of what car I currently have.... I own a 1967 Pontiac Tempest Custom 4-door hardtop. It has a relatively new Pontiac 400ci V8, and a rebuilt TH350 transmission. The engine has been completely redone, as well. Bored out, all new internals, heads redone, it is NICE!!! The rest of the car, however, is mostly original. And of course, those are the parts I have to work on or fix up. Case in point, the suspension issue of which I am now typing about here on ForeverPontiac. I will soon be adding a few photos of my car. But for now, I simply ask for HELP! I welcome information from any and all folks willing to dole out the advice. In advance, THANK YOU. Your Pal, EZ_SLEAZY

  13. Hello all, I'm Ty'Eira (pronounced Tierra). I'm from Charlotte, NC but currently reside in Asheville, NC and this is my Poncho, a '95 GAGT with 121k miles. I call her "Snow White". I bought this car in February for $1000, it was a 1-owner car, and so far I have put 6,000 miles on her. I'm planning on doing an LG0 H.O. Quad 4/manual swap since I can't find a GAGT with one, much less another GAGT like this generation. I may as well build it, and what better way to start off with an unmolested 3100? I love this car (even though it's 1 of 1,022 equipped with the 1SA package, crank windows), and she's loving me too. Only mods done is a K&N CAI, and a Flomaster catless exhaust. It was lowered but I had to go back to stock height (I still have the lowering kit). Enough talking, here's Snow.

    Newbie

Newbie here, I just found out about this site. I'm into all things Pontiac. I currently have a '64 GTO and a '64 Tempest, and I have had several other Pontiacs in the past. I live in San Diego County.
  16. Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum. I've got a 2009 Stryker Blue Metallic Pontiac G8 GT. I bought it back in 2012 with a little over 50k miles on it. It now sits at 120k miles. My two previous cars were also Pontiacs. When I turned 16, I bought a 1992 Grand Prix LE. My junior year of high school, I sold it and bought a 2000 Grand Am GT. I traded the Grand Am for the G8. The G8 is by far the most fun vehicle I've ever had (and the most annoyingly expensive, but I love it). Mods: BTR Stage 2 LS3 cam (225/238 .612"/.585" 113+3), ported LS1 heads, Lunati link bar lifters, PaceSetter LT headers, Magnaflow cat back w/ cat delete, DOD delete, 160 t-stat, Volant CAI. Powertrain work done at L&S Garage. Tuned by Roshan at Powerhaus Performance. Coming soon: FTI 3600 stall with B&M transmission cooler In-car entertainment: Morel component speaker system in front, Audison bit Ten digital sound processor with multi-channel amp running all cabin speakers, dual 12" Alpine Type E's in the trunk. Hooked up at Elite Auto Image

  21. Welcome to the new and improved Forever Pontiac! We upgraded the software that our forum runs and there is a lot of new goodies! Things are easier to do and function. As with upgrading to new software, please let us know in this topic if you find anything that is broken or not as it should. There are a few things that are still "rebuilding" and should soon finish (such as old posts and their formatting). Just some of the new features: Responsive layout (no more different desktop and mobile versions of the site, it is 1 experience!) Update WYSIWYG editor for posting. See everything in real time! Drag and drop uploading! Mentions (@useranme will allow you to alert anyone) Overall we are excited to welcome you to this and are in process of upgrading our "How-Tos" so please be patient.
  22. Hello all! Glad to be here at the Pontiac forums! I have a question about my beautiful Pontiac. During the fall I picked up a mint condition Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 for 1200$ Unfortunately when my dad brought it home I didn't see any door handles on them. Which led to some other problems. Since the door opener on the keyring won't open either doors (You can hear the klink sound but nothing opens) leaving me to leave the driver side window rolled down slightly so I can even enter the car. The doors open and lock just fine from the inside but it leaves me quite irritated that I can't have door handles like the rest of the damn world. Any advice on that? My last resort is buying new doors which pains me the most to do, is there anyway I can re-install handles on the car at all without major difficulty? Secondly, I would like to know how to fix the driver seat, I can't adjust it, like it's jammed or something and won't go forward or backward. Lastly, I just need to buy the rear spoiler, a weathering strip and fix a crack in the dash and she'll be running in the spring. Anyone that can help me through this would be greatly appreciated. I really want to get cracking on this soon! Thank you, if anyone needs pictures for reference I'd be happy to supply them!
  23. Thought this was an interesting page from a magazine of the 1979 lineup from Pontiac, Don't see much like this anymore.
  24. With the 4th of July less than 2 days away, we're looking for some great Pontiac's with Patriotic themes! Post your pic of your #Pontiac to this thread and we will choose a winner tomorrow night to be our cover photo for our social assets!
