So I rolled up to a light tonight with a beautiful Black G8 sittin in the right lane and a Challenger in the left. I changed lanes to get behind the Pontiac.  Couple rev's outta the Challenger and I'm thinkin ....it's on.  They both take off and the Pontiac backs off and I almost rear end him thinkin I need to keep up with my LIL truck.  So the next light, I'm in the RT turn lane and pulled up next to the Pontiac.  I yelled, if you don't kick his ass off this light you need to sell me that car.  He laughs N waves.  The Challenger owner smiles N waves too.  So I waited to see what happens.  The Challenger blasts off N the G8 justa takes off slowly.   The SHAME of it all.

Meh. It's not all about the penis envy. Some guys just like to go out for a cruise.

Maybe he enjoys having a driver's license. Most states, street racing = revoked. He was showing that he's not baited and keep the racing where it belongs. Atco, Pomona, Cecil County, Maple Grove.

Damn STE, where's the fun in that life ?

Streetlight jousting and Street Racing are two different animals.  Everythings legal til you pass the speed limit...or you get caught sending smoke signals.

My usual answer is ... what's the rush? The best things in life are savoured. You wouldn't rush smoking a fine Cuban cigar. You wouldn't rush eating a perfectly fired steak. Wouldn't rush a fine glass of wine. Would you rush a dance with a beautiful woman? Is your car so awful you're in a hurry to get somewhere and get out of it?

Street light jousting..I love doing it.Didnt know it had a name.
