My bad, cassettes and 8-tracks seem to blend together in my mind. I use CDs lol, which is a 90's thing..

LOL we had cell phones too. They weighted about 20lbs and you carried them in a shoebox size case. KEEP ON TRUCKIN! :naughty:

Music has come a long way. I'll keep my 32G iPod, thank you.

I have digital players and other tech items for music but something still said for the record player and listening to pure talent of musicians overcome the technology of their time and sound better than most of the stuff today ;)

Ok we got off topic, Where's the prom pic's of the "model" with your car?

I don't suppose anyone had reel-to-reel tape players huh? I had 8-tracks, cassettes, 78s (they were my folks), 45s, 33s, and CDs. I never bought into the DAT (Digital Audio Tape) that had a short life span back in the 80s. Heck, I remember the Columnbia record club ads 10 records for a penny (had to join and agree to purchase so many more at the club rate but still....).

I still own my turntable and stereo components. I am about to get rid of them though since I haven't touched them in years. I am still worried that records might make a come back like a lot of people "in the biz" keep predicting.

Since when did we ever worry about staying on topic - especially for one of Havoc's posts? :lol2::rofl:
