What I first assumed was not correct. Still shakin my head. In fact the big bodys were guys older than me! WTF? JUSTA like imports, they spent their $$ and busted their knuckles. Don't mean I have to LIKE it. Earns justa enought respect to keep my mouth shut.

Here's a shot of my warcamp. My daughter with her G6 took 1st/class, the Sunbird was skunked because I was in Modified N not racecar, because of Engine out the hood and a rollbar. But its not tubbed and waaay to much weight BS to be racecar. One guy that was put in racecar, gave me sooo much grief. I finally told him. YOU DON"T WANT ME THERE, you would have no chance @ a an award. I wanted both cars in class, so I could parkem together. The kicker is I lost to a guy with a 63 catalina, period correct racecar!!! 421 duel carbs with RAM AIR through the headlights. Beautiful car, I knod my head, but he was showing pic's of the car on the dragstrip!! Not blowin my own horn, but this is the 1st time the Sunbird has not recieved an award @ a carshow entered. Since 95. With 7 cars in my class, they only handed out 2 awards. With 7 cars in Racecar they handed out 3. I really didn't care. I was all about having my GTO out of the neighborhood for the 1st time and being @ the show for some pic's of my warcamp together for the 1st time outta the driveway. I was also representing Gold Eagle products and had an award to hand out for a Best of Show COOLRIDE. Had a great time, talked with sooo many old friends. Was bummmed to walk past people grumbling about me. Thats not what I'm all about. These people had no way of knowing that I supported the heck out of the show, getting the Widetrackers goodie bag material, doorprize material and a sweet glass trophy to hand out. The Widetrackers are a great bunch and were very appreciative of my efforts and I guess that all that matters. Sorry if it sounds like I'm ranting. It was an awesome day for me! My daughter with her award. And the WARCAMP. My choice for Coolride. Check the factory AC under the steering column. This is one amazing Pontiac. My warriors together for the 1st time @ show....PRICELESS!
