'65 GTO

I thought I’d introduce our '65 Pontiac GTO to the group.

This car was a father/son project for a number of years. It was completely rebuilt and restores by Saltworks Manufacturing in Florida when we finally decided to go full nut and bolt frame-off.

It’s powered by a Kauffman Racing Equipment 461 stroker making 573 HP and 592 lb-ft of torque, backed by a Tremec 5-speed and Currie 9-inch with 3.70 gears. It also has Speedtech suspension, Wilwood 6-piston brakes, and Holley Sniper EFI.

The goal was to keep the unmistakable look and character of a ’65 GTO while making it a much more capable car underneath. It’s been a long journey from the original donor to the finished car, and we’re pretty proud of how it turned out.

Looking forward to sharing more photos and details with some fellow Pontiac enthusiasts and checking out your ride as well.
