I wanted to share my auction scores! The Astre and Bonneville ambulance had bids from a scrap man. I couldn't let them get crushed!

You're as mad as that bloke in New Zealand. You should see what he's dragged home over the years...AND his wife still hangs around.

Got me stumped...Anyway, I suppose congratulations are in order. Enjoy your ferrous oxide booty.

Congrats! I'm a huge fan of Vegas and Astres (more than one person has accused me of being weird). My first car was a Vega and a buddy in high school had a yellow and black '77 Astre Formula.

Always about an H body.  Great save!!   That is truly representing Pontiac.  AND you don't have to search for a project for years when the wife wants something done around the house.

I just came across a post on a Pontiac page on FB for the auction. I was just wanting parts for my Bonneville, but kind of fell in love with the Tempest wagon. I went to meet the guy selling them and checked out the wagon. Super complete car!

I don't really have a plan yet for the ambulance. It's super cool though!

My grandpa had a Cosworth Vega when I was a kid. I loved that car..

I didn't address the rag top. I bought it for the windshield and rear bumper. Unfortunately the rear bumper isn't as good as I had hoped. The body on that car is full of bondo. The frame and cowl is good, plus the windshield trim. I'm hoping to send it off and come out even.
