Hey everyone. I'm Ryan and I was suggested to join by member on another forum. Quick history: first car was a 2000 Expo Eddie Bauer Edition, then 2002 WRX, then my current car, a 2001 GTP Special Edition and I'm buying a totaled 2000 Grand Am GT sedan in a few days. I'm not car-smart or anything, but I can definitely appreciate a fine machine in any form. If I can anyone with anything I will, and I'll be looking for help and advice.

Glad to see you mad it over here.

No worries about not being mechanically inclined, myself or the others will be happy to give advice and help out.

Just a warning, I tend to overwhelm n00bs with my posts sometimes, just ask the other regulars. Haha.

welcome can we get some :lol2:

I love showing off my pride and joy, past and present.

I got the Expo as my first car when I was 17. 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition.

This is my cardomain page for the Expo.

Sold the Expo and bought this with the money, 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX. Brace yourself: I kept it for 2-3 weeks because I hated driving standard. While still owning this I bought my next car, a GTP with my own money.(The Expo was bought by my parents, then the money went to the Subaru)

This is my current car, its a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Special Edition. Bought it in Sep or Oct. I bought 18's for it for the summer, but I need new tires for them. This leads to my new car, sorta.

I offered a guy money for his stock rims he had on his totaled 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT. He told me for 100 bux more I can have the whole car. I pick it up Saturday. I plan on parting it out. Everything will be for sale except the rims. I'm using the rims on my GTP tires for winter. The guy must have just totaled it because the tires are a month old.

Thanks for the pic help Jedi. Didn't want to overload this thread with all the awesomeness that is a totaled GA. :lol2:

IIRC, you gotta wait till you hit 50 posts before you can sell stuffs here. Also, make a sign in each of the pics with your SN, ForeverPontiac and the date for authenticity. I know you don't want to keep the totalled car for long...maaaaaaybe us mods can make an acception depending on interest of parts.

Make a Gaging Interest thread about the parts car first, and if there's enough demand, I'll pull for ya and make sure you can sell the parts.

That'd be awesome! Update: I'm going to head up to Watertown Friday to see the car. I know I'm going to need a shovel just to get at it. Pick it up Saturday. Once I pick it up, then I'll make a thread and take more pics. When I take the pics with the signs do you want something like these?

Sorry EiGhTySeVeN, you will need 50 posts before selling anything on this website. We have a zero exception rule. I myself had to get 50 before I could sell what I wanted :slap: Believe me once you get going 50 posts is nothing, ask Chaos :lol2:

Hey bro is the rear bumper in good condition?

Thats ok, can I answer to the "wanted" threads? That is if I see people needing grand am parts?

Yes, you can respond to that but still you must follow guidelines with the pictures and provide all information the buyer wants :)

I just talked to the guy who was supposed to sell me the totaled GA. I guy came and bought it and the seller thought it was me. I honestly feel sick...

I told the guy last Saturday that I'd come pick the car up on Saturday the 11th. I went out and even bought a pair of snow tires and joined 3 forums. I even put the pics of the car up on forums for people to see. Texted the guy about 2 hours ago asking if I could come see the car tomarrow. He goes "uh its gone. A guy came and picked it up. I thought it was you. Sorrie." Furious, confused, disappointed, sad etc. No way I'll ever find a deal like that one. I know I'm crying over spilled milk but god... F***!!!!! Good news is I found a guy with an extra cap for my 18s in Indy, 20 bux. Still p!ssed though...
