Hello everybody!  Just taking a minute to introduce myself.  My name is Art and I am married to a woman who owns a 1950 Pontiac Chieftain.  The car is in pretty good shape but not much has been done with it for the last 20 or so years.  I am finally ready to get going on this project but don't really know much about the car or how to make the necessary repairs.  My mechanic experience is mostly with old Mustangs and any Harley Davidson motorcycles. I have used forums like this many times for sharing information about my many projects and I am hoping that I will find success here.  As I learn more about the car I will be happy to share what I have learned for others to see.  Thank you all for being here and for the guidance I am sure to receive.
