I hope the tenitnus booster shot is worth it. He/she is going to really need it.

It will all blow away before they can get it home on the trailer!!  Actually a Saudi Prince bought it,  sent the guy a check for $15,000.00 as he didn't know what the shipping cost would be. Told him to cash it and return the extra $6900.  :leghump::nuts::stars:

All I can say is wow! Guess a prince should have the money to fix it if anybody can. 6 months from now we may see a post from "PrincePontiac" asking about the original paint code. lol

Another case of -  is this too far gone to be saved? Especially for $7500? For a '64 GTo 389 - 4-speed?

wow, what an excellent builder, but boy! that steering wheel is well and truely shot ! hahaha

What motor would it have frosty🙄 ?

Edited by 64 kiwi boni

oh... i should read the craiglist addy🙄...its a 400🙄 !

so is $8900 a fair price ??

whats a driver level one worth?

  • Author

I don't think I'd go over the asking price. Depending on the total condition I might come down quite a bit if there is a ton of rust.

The Endura bumper delete option is interesting but it doesn't it make a particularly valuable car. A 400 was the correct original motor for that car.

If the steering wheel is that bad, makes me wonder how bad is the rest of the interior (and the car).

Options: Air Conditioning, Tilt Steering Wheel, Tinted Glass

Customized Options: include Sunroof, functional shaker hood with a 1973-76 Trans Am shaker hood scoop, white wheels, Spinner Rally center caps and rear air shocks.

Vehicle Description: This is a 1975 Pontiac Catalina 2 door hardtop. It was completely restored about 25 years ago. The 400ci big block V* engine was rebuilt at that time and has approximately 10,000 miles on it.

There are no leaks and the engine starts with no smoke or funny noises. It drives, shifts-out and stops as it should. It has a mild cam and enough power to make this a fast big car. All the gauges work as they should. The body is solid and straight. The car has a new master cylinder and starter. The car also has an Edelbrock water pump and a Moroso deep aluminum transmission pan with a 1 quart capacity increase. The car has no major rust issues.

The car has been garaged kept and Pa inspected since I purchased it In October 2006. I have only added approximately 2000 miles to the car over the last 14 years. The car looks great at a distance but could use new paint to bring it back to top show car condition.

This former show car has a sun roof and functional shaker hood…. Complete with a 1973-1976 Pontiac Trans Am hood scoop and the drain tube routing rain water to the underside of the car. It may need a new AC compressor, as I never recharged it with Freon (old stuff) to see if the AC works.

Other: The car also includes 5 original Pontiac Rally wheels, with 4 center caps and 4 wheel trim beauty rings.

No trades. Serious inquires only!! Price: $6,800. Car is located in Warminster Pa. Zip code 18974. If you have questions please call and leave a message or reply via e-mail.
