2016 Pontiac Southern Nationals

Our car last attended the Pontiac Southern Nationals in 2001 with the previous owner. We attended PSN for the first time yesterday and received the gold award for the best original 65-67 GTO. The event was held at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison Texas and hosted by Dallas Area Pontiac Association. The event was very well organized and a lot of fun to see the cars and planes. We parked next to a C-7 Caribou and one of the original crew members gave us a tour of it. It's always an honor to meet a veteran who has served to protect the freedom we enjoy. I hope it's okay to post pictures of military planes on the site.

Congratulations Rick on your Gold Award. I know how special and meaningful it is to win such an award at an all Pontiac show where you are judged by folks that know Pontiacs.

That's an awesome win and an equally awesome show Rick. It is a well earned win. I think I need to put this show on the bucket list.
