2016 Pontiac Southern Nationals

Featured Replies

Our car last attended the Pontiac Southern Nationals in 2001 with the previous owner. We attended PSN for the first time yesterday and received the gold award for the best original 65-67 GTO. The event was held at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison Texas and hosted by Dallas Area Pontiac Association. The event was very well organized and a lot of fun to see the cars and planes. We parked next to a C-7 Caribou and one of the original crew members gave us a tour of it. It's always an honor to meet a veteran who has served to protect the freedom we enjoy. I hope it's okay to post pictures of military planes on the site.

Good to see you at the show, Rick! A lot of nice Pontiacs and cool planes on display. Congrats on winning the Gold award for your class. Well deserved.

Nice shots, Vintage Planes & Cars two of my favorite things for sure!

My spotters reported several Cammers on deck, which at any show is very rare.

Looks like it was a decent show.

Congratulations Rick on your Gold Award. I know how special and meaningful it is to win such an award at an all Pontiac show where you are judged by folks that know Pontiacs.

Awesome shot's N congrat's on you win. Well deserved.

Thanks Darrel, the Grand Prix looked great as usual at the show.

Thanks to everyone for the congratulations. The best part is being around other Pontiac enthusiasts.

That's an awesome win and an equally awesome show Rick. It is a well earned win. I think I need to put this show on the bucket list.

I forgot to mention that the triple black 68 GTO convertible at the show could be a distant cousin to Stratman's 68 GTO. Not as nice, but the right color.
