Sellers Indian Summer Carshow

Recommended Posts

Wow, didn't really sink in til I backed the car in the garage.   Summers over......this was the last show!

Started at 5 am......Wide awake N listening to the rain on my window.  Got to leave in 2 1/2 hrs to meet up with the rest of the tribe.  Road is a freakin mudpit, like it or not, gotta drive the mile out to pavement in this mess.  Clouds cleared, rain stopped and a beautiful day was snatched from the washout.  JustaG6 was there with her new/old 07 Torrent she picked up yesterday as a daily driver.  Didn't have time to clean/wax so it wasn't entered.  Frosty made the trip (at least an hour drive) and Mike made it with his Rivera.   This shot is the missing man formation in memory of our buddy IndymanJoe who didn't make the last show of summer.  No Show Joe...say it ain't soooooo.  He was missed.

Here's some shots from the awesome day that led to all 3 of us winning a plaque.  Doorprizes and Frosty won the trifecta!!!!  If you attend all 3 of the All Pontiac   or new this year BOP shows. Buick Old's Pontiac show series you had your card punched and tossed in the drawing for a $150.00 gas card. Congrat's Frosty

NICE ARRAY OF CARS! I've seen the Burgundy Sport Coupe before but the Gold '67 LeMANS is a new one for me. Looks good. Back in the mid eighties Uncle Milty was doing the show/Race circuit with the Ringer GTO and I was just getting into OHC powered Pontiac's. When I saw the chance I approached Milt to speak with him about the Royal Treatment for the OHC SPRINTs and he was genuinely interested in talking about the program and could recall all the details but thought he had some pertinent information in his collection. I was very interested in knowing the exact details/specs on the parts and/or modifications made with the OHC 6 package. Sadly he was never able to locate that information 😞

Anyhow great looking LeMANS!            Any under hood shots?

CHEERS.

After the Seller's show was over, we had the option of cruising over to Baker's Restaurant in nearby Milford Michgian. Baker's hosts a weekly Sunday afternoon cruise. Some say it's the largest weekly cruise. It's the only weekly cruise I know that also has its own swap meet.

He's ALIVE.....  LOL Sorry I missed ya Indy.  The thunderstorms in the forcast didn't happen. I missed Bakers for nothin.  Then again, I had done enough parking lot walkin already.  Don't know how your knee held up to all that Frosty.  Nice pic's from Bakers.  Thankz for sharing.

Yup, Joe and I chatted for well over an hour. Seems he's spent quite a bit of time doing stuff around the house this summer (his choice). He's making the missus happy. Sad thing is he's not made it out to the drag strip all summer - even after installing that Ford 9" rear end!!!!

The knee was giving me fits on the hill at Baker's before Joe showed up. It tightened up on the hill and in the swap meet area. Glad I had the cane with me.

Wish I could have had JustaG6 there, 1st It's missed in a couple years.  Did have my new/old JustaTorrent there I Justa pickedup the day before.  Everythings about working on my new house and trying to get moved in. Always a fun day to hang out with my Dad, Frosty, Mike, IndyJoe and the Notallthere's.   Missed Joe this year, but we had fun with the missing man formation.   I don't remember the Notallthere's making the Sellers show before.

I don't think the Notalltheres have ever made the Sellers show now that you say that. They both have tough work schedules. He works retail and she works in a test lab. So they both work lots of weekend hours.
