This will be the first time in 15yrs we haven't had a Daily driver Pontiac..Traded in the 09 torrent and bought Michelle a 2017 Toyota Tundra. I had a few Toys back in my younger days and i always loved the versatility durable and maintenance free trucks these are known for. My dad just retired from GM with 53yrs and seeing what happened to him...i'll just leave that sore spot alone for now. The ride is amazing.10k towing possible for her horse trailer etc. lots of power and loaded up with the stuff Michelle likes. First mod will be adding a drivers side grab bar to get in and out of. then a tonneau cover. Parts should be here by friday i hope.

I use royal purple because of the scuff test i seen a couple years ago. Cant find the article right now. But i change the Lemans oil 2x's a yr while driving (more if racing) then once for the winter. Wix filter as well. Great info as always Last Indian. Caulk and paint make me the carpenter i aint.

Anyone price out a new battery for an electric car yet? what happens to the old one? Iv'e read anywhere between 8-12k for a new battery installed. And thats at 100k miles. I hope more people buy electric maybe the price of gas will go cheaper LOL But of course the cost of my electric bill will go through the roof..Solar is a viable option for lights in the home but some gov't subsidized failure will need more tax money to fund the bailout as usual.

That is a huge difference! makes me want to try it on my car.
