  1. Not doing it today but...found a freeze plug leaking right over the motor mount drivers side...never smelled coolant or noticed a loss of coolant but its there. small rusty ass trail. so i found a nice engine stand on FB marketplace for $50 brand new with the 4 splayed wheels as opposed to the 3 wheel tippers. Picked it up on my daily drives in the man van 10 miles from home! now tracking down a cherry picker. Engine has to come out brass plugs should be here from butler tomorrow. pisses me off as this is our time of the year me and Michelle rack up the miles/smiles. 2 weeks coming up end of aug begining sept...may just get a lower pressure rad cap and see what happens LOL justa finally got rid of the new age GPS crap for speed and miles hanging off the cig lighter..
  2. speaking of which..i didnt know your son is a huge hot rodder. found him on Facebook LOL
  3. I drive a Tundra, nothing to do....LOL although Michelle thinks the same engineers who designed the brake systems on all the cars we have ever had are one step ahead of us in employment. She says this because every single car we have ever owned has warped brake rotors. Of course she denies it has anything to do with her applying the brakes at full pressure 20ft from a red light or stop sign doing 50+ MPH.
  4. for just penny's a day you can sponsor an aussie! LOL we can put ya up at our house.
  5. corky here. remember an engine is really an air pump so cfm,s matter but the whole system has to be balanced properly.
  6. is your exhaust restricted? whats the whole system consist of? does your choke pull off work?
  7. Kiwi she thinks i put a fence up to keep the deer out,its actually to keep the garden in. LOL
  8. leaky Rear ps axle seal done. stuck caliper on the same side done. went for a cruise. so nice to not have to look at the gps for accurate speeds! Hated seeing an electronic device in the Lemans, justa doesnt seem right. justa finished some burgers on the Charcoal grill and im/we are ready for bed! Michelle spent the day in her garden and i finished off cleaning the garage.
  9. I cant wait to see the burnout this car is gonna do! get back out there!
  10. Found this chart online and i found it very useful and so far accurate. i went from a 2:78 rear axle to a 3:50. changed tires from f-70 14inch to 275/60-15 in back. speedometer was always too fast figured i would play around and see what i could do. this chart helped me get the correct speedo gear and the trans driven gear for the dirty girl. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwigt6GW_rOAAxVRkIkEHSIsAxEQFnoECAoQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.chevelles.com%2Fthreads%2Fset-that-speedo.1132214%2F&usg=AOvVaw1egmIdDOUAw_vybTQRf4JQ&opi=89978449
