  1. Don't get any better than that! The airbrushed image of the designer/creator in the trunk was awesome too. So lifelike.
  2. Sweet links, best was pinterest for sure. TONS to check out. Of course my wife is on there and knew all about it.
  3. These were all real many years ago. Most have probably seen these, but betting Kiwi and others have not. ENJOY These are actual billboards in Detroit, Michigan put up by GM. This is definitely cool! +Priceless....... Wish I could find PONTIAC billboards I can remember seeing. Hope ya got a kick outta these!
  4. Sent back the 1st carb kit. Was for the wrong 2bbl. Installed my new rearview mirror on the GTO. Will Justa have to keep the new accelerator pump I got from the Big Brown truck. Mine is working fine. Couple of taps and the front carb stopped leaking and ran pretty well for Dream Cruise. (as long as you don't stomp it) It took a loooong time to download here. Sorry bout your mate. Good reason to break out one of the cars.
  5. Dang, that sucks. We have the state to contaminate our water. Justa ask Frosty. EXACTLY why I'm glad to have my well instead of city water.
  6. Even with the lighting it still looks great. Nice job.
  7. Amazing as always.. So in one shot, there is a reflection of the Buick emblem. Had to be an angle thing cause I don't see it out in plain sight. You da man.
  8. Went back to real butter many years ago. Still drink whole milk too. Wife likes the 2% crap. Justa get a glass of water. Nothin rots my rear more than paying for bottled water. Esp since I still have a well.
  9. Would take a mighty big hand to wear that jewlery.
  10. You could still have the 389. In 1964 was the 1st year the starter is attached to the block instead of the trans, which would be the 2 speed powerglide. Still very sought after trans for drag racing.
  11. Shame they got rid of this logo. Remember as a kid we used to fold the box to put the knee's in here hands. Guess what that looks like..... LMAO
  12. Agree with 4life. Your gonna need all the help you can get. You have a great starting point for resto, seems in pretty good shape. 1st off you haven't mentioned if it's runnin or not. Now would be the time to work on mechanical 1st as you make plans for the bodywork. There's an old saying....If you don't have time to do it right the 1st time. When will you find time to do it all over again correctly? Bondo over rust holes might last a year or two, but then your back to square 1. You guy's can look into taking a bodyshop class at a local vocational school, community college ect. Ask about getting the car in to work on it there. They have all the right tools and you get to learn how to use them. Skills learned such as welding, metal fab, paint will serve you a lifetime. It's exciting to see young guns like you guys, getting involved with restoration and preserving the Ol skool cars as opposed to the throw away ricers. Learning to do it correctly is priceless. Good luck N hope you guys post plenty of pic's, lots of guys here willing to help with advice. Welcome to the tribe!
  13. Your car collection is sooo awesome. Glad you have a Pontiac.
  14. Welcome to FP, nice pic's and liked the add too.
  15. Hope it works out for ya. Is this the guy without the proper tools?
  16. Still waiting...... what's da word?
  17. Never had a problem yet filling the right seat when I get one of the cars out. They can take care of my lightwork, but it's not really a problem here.
  18. Info on all carbs made in USA. Parts for all carbs. Rebuild kits. Tune up tips for carbs. Ordering rebuild kit for my center carb of my Tri Power. They sell leather seal accelerator pump. Plastic/rubber supplied in other kits only last 5 years with our Ethanol gas. Leather will last forever!!!! I've learned alot from Justa checkin this site out. Now on the top of my Pontiac parts list. Check em out. http://www.thecarburetorshop.com/ http://www.thecarburetorshop.com/Tripowertuning.htm
  19. Bummer on the ticket. Glad ya got it home OK. Lift got a lil more EXPENSIVE.
