Check your dipstick for contact. If the inner guide has come loose it will let the dipstick hit the crank. Short of a caved in oil pan, don't see how the oil pickup could move. Although circle track racers do put a tack weld on the pick up to make sure it doesn't come apart.

64 has the quirky steering location probs. And then you can add in the clearance issues for the starter too on that side. Wish I could tell you which would be the easiest to modify for your problem. Kinda looks like you will be doing modifying of some sort.

Not so far off the mark. Used set of Pontiac headers, cut and replace only the runners needed. Still a PIA, but alot less work. Could spend a couple more$$$ (sorry) N have em ceramic coated when your done. Justa throwin it out there.

Not so much on the BBC. Everything is backwards on the Chev to the Pontiac. Wiring, fuel routing, Starter on the wrong side so you can't use the same trans.

That episode was sooo funny. They were trying to drive cross country and leaving clues on social media where they were going to end up. The winner needed to be there with cash in hand to buy the jeep. (a bar in the middle of a desert) You really needed 4X4 or at least an SUV to get there. Good times guys.
