  1. Like it or not your part of the family now. There are no dumb questions. Keep us up with whats going on and chat it up in the forum.
  2. So who's the new member, and who needs more help???
  3. Beautiful Pontiac, thankz for the pic. Hope ya figure it out. Sounds like you've covered most of the bases already.
  4. What is the normal operating temp when fully hot? Until I got my operating temp down to 160, 170 in 90 degree outdoor temps. Had the same "gas station" starting problems you are. With the factory shroud, I'm assuming your still using a fan. Stock clutch or flex fan?
  5. Not quite that simple and no matter what $$$. 62 will probably be Glide trans and the starter is mounted to the trans. Not a bad option to rebuild the motor. Crate motor will include a price with a whole new trans. See where your starter is mounted, should be on driver side.
  6. Only LAUGHING cause I found myself drooling on the key board.!! Great find. Welcome to the site. Chat it up with us in the forum.
  7. He would be floored to see Woodward ANY given weeknight evening. = Longest, coolest rolling carshow he could imagine. THEN show him the DREAM CRUISE!!!
  8. YES you did post some pics of the interior and cars waiting to be displayed.
  9. Agree..... with Frosty N Kiwi, Welcome to the site. We need pic's of your Pontiac.
  10. Welcome Terry. 1st we need pic's of the car. We love pic's round here. As Kiwi said, need a lil more info on the engine. Size, headers?, where your fuel lines are run. Vapor lock is when your fuel lines are too close to the exhaust. Headers tend to overheat your starter if heat shield of some sort are not in place. Will drain a battery in no time trying to start a hot motor. Operating temp of the engine is another. Instant double reply....... We have nothing better to do. Do the pic's of the car 1st Terry!!!
  11. Hope to see the place open by then. The owner opened his 1st museum in PONTIAC Illinois. He purchased a close school building here in Pontiac Mich. to help with overflow of his Pontiac collection. Renovations just to open the inside of the building from small classrooms to open areas are extensive. Our club the Widetrackers have been huge supporters and some are on staff. Frosty has been inside the building and knows much more about it then me. Things like the voting for grant $$ from the city of Pontiac you all helped with last year was amazing. We did not win the grant but many thankz to all that helped with the voting. Hoping there will be another grant this year? Would be a blast to show ya the archery thing.. You have never shot a bow? We can fix that! We could do a face to face with a bear too...BUT, there will be a fence between us!!!!!!! Would enjoy a face to face meeting with the Last Indian as well. That might take some planning.
  12. At one point this 1969 Lamborghini Espada was his only car. It now has somewhere north of 100k miles on it. 1994 McLaren F1....What is your 1994 vehicle worth if you had to guess? Well, Jay’s McLaren F1 is reportedly worth a cool $12 million. He says while he doesn’t have a favorite car this is the first one he would try to save from imminent disaster if he had too.

  14. Brand new 67 GTO coming down the assembly line.... Wonder where that car is now? Lovingly stored in a garage or part of a washer/drier combo.
