Somebody thought it was a good idea to add corn to our gas. It does have benefits, but also the leading cause of fuel system destruction in the older cars. Also very hard on moving parts that are not made to stand up to basicly brake clean in your cyls, rings, valves. Does help keep clean from buildup and runs cooler with most everything turbocharged anymore.

ONLY product I will use. https://www.eastwood.com/paints/hi-temp-engine-paints/exhaust-paints.html Make sure its the brush on, this came up 1st. Maybe you like this stuff in a can? You can touch up the brush on stuff easily.

Would start, but couldn't keep it running. Pushed it off the HWY and around a corner. Idiots trying to change lanes behind me, tire's squeelin, almost accidents. Really thought I was gonna get hit. Then a 3 1/2hr wait for a wrecker.

Turns out a MAF sensor and a 02 sensor. They will have the parts in tomorrow AM. Hope that's all. Wife is busy and needs her car, she will have to drop me off and JUSTA wait N hope the truck is done. Shouldn't take more than an hour or so to install (being generous) once the parts arrive.

How many do you need? For someone looking for that missing piece like you were, it's been one fine day to find em. To buy them up and put em on a shelf where they do nobody any good? Lost a very close friend a couple of years ago. He had his entire garage stuffed to the ceiling with hard to find parts of all kinds. He and his son looked for weeks before he passed, for the center console and His/hers shifter from a 67 GTO to GIVE to me! The combo together is worth $800 from the few I ran across and didn't have the $$ for at the time. I had my HURST T handle engraved with Brian's name so I never forget he rides with me every time I fire that car. After he passed, his son had 2 weeks to empty the garage/house rental. Everything we drug outta that garage, was phone calls to get out N get it NOW, if you want it, to anyone we could think of. It made us all sick and to be truthful there wasn't one of us standing there with a dry eye when they hauled off that million dollar dumpster to the landfill. What would your family do with boxes of car parts sitting on a shelf??? As IndymanJoe say's..... I hope my wife doesn't sell my stuff for what I told her I paid for it. Have you checked your fuel pressure? Could be a bad pump. Manuel or Electric? In the mountains you experience Rich conditions as the air is so thin for what your carb is dumping in, but you seem to think it's a lean problem.

Foam fill will not stop rust. You would be making a much bigger mess of it when you go to fix it right. Looks like you need to remove the piller and windshield chrome to see how bad it really is. Junkyards, when ya find out how much you need to replace. If you can find a good one.
