You do live in a part of the country that you can drive a car like that year round. so that helps but can you live with next to nothing to speak of in regards with the trunk? Can you live with no more than two people and a can of coke in your car? The interior is quite small and can be very claustrophobic with the roof up. So if things like that bother you its not a good idea. Another thing to think of is with the roof up they can be a bear to back up. The back window is small, the hight trunk and no coupe quarter windows all make it hard. Now dont get me wrong I sell the Saturn SKY and these cars are a blast to drive and are a well made car. I am a big fan of them and there are too many great things about the cars but I just wanted to give you some stuff to think about.

You may miss the functionality of the Sedan as a daily driver over the Solstice. Don't get me wrong they are definately nice looking cars but seeing the size of the trunk good luck taking off for a long weekend with someone and packing more than a tooth brush. After that screw it get the Solstice.

with the roof down at best two lightly packed duffelbags, with the roof up maybe twice the room at best.

the gas tank being in the trunk and being a vert really kill the room and make for a strainge shape trunk.

It does have more than one cup holder but yeah everything is a little awkward in the car. The seat adjuster button is between your legs, you have to use your right hand to easily put the windows down unless you have really short arms like me. It does have a locking glovebox though, if you get the 5spd f-35 they tend to be notchy. I have a coupe but in the main cubby area I can fit about 4-5 bags of grocery depending on whats in them and how much stuff is in them. I don't like to put anything above the little cubby area so I can still see out the back. The car makes you speed around corners like no other also so I hope you have a radar detector lol. If your looking for a all around car than keep looking, but it is awesome at whats its made for and thats having fun.

:dancingpontiac: with it all

and lol who the F thought the window switches so far back was a good idea?

All I got to say is the Solstice and Sky are wonderful awesome cars but for a daily driver for myself I could never see me having it. Although I would love to have a Solstice GXP Coupe, I would only get it as a fun car or something of the sort. If you really think you could afford it get it as a second car and keep the 6 but if you can't afford it than keep the 6.

Side note the cup holder that pops out right by the shifter on the passenger side makes a excellent place to put your ipod/iphone to connect to the H/U. You will also get lots of people staring at your car and asking what kind it is. Headlights are a thousand times easier to replace than the g6's, taillights at least for the coupe is a completely different story.

I say trade. :dancingpontiac:

about time you post up. trade? um the 6 is...6k in trade? about?

6K might be kinda high for the G6. I could see the average dealer giving you between 4-4.5K towards the Solstice.

Jimmy's got a point though, those cars are tiny inside. As a DD, I'd think it over for awhile.

Sell/trade the 6 and get the Solstice!!! :dancingpontiac:

Dealerships around me were telling me $7,500 for mine. But then again, mine isn't a 4 cyl, BUT mine has 80K
