It was said the road was somewhat wet, but he hit a dip in the road and lost control.

But what caught my attention, look at the front wheels (the second pic) those are directional tires...going in the wrong direction...hmmm...

They're going the right way. Save it and flip it if that helps. You're looking at the bottom of the tire there. Or, to help you out more, you can see the steering wheel closest to you in the picture, indicating that side is the left side of the car. Helpful pointer with directional tires, they should be pointed in the direction that corresponds with the side of the car it's going on. So, tire going on the left (driver's) side of the car will be going left. As you can see, that tire's directional tread is going left.

I got another one for you all...

FHP: Driver In Deadly Ocala Crash Was Going 120 mph

The Florida Highway Patrol released their report Monday in their ongoing investigation into a fatal crash in Ocala two weeks ago that killed five young men.

FHP said authorities continued to interview dozens of people about the crash, but said what they did know was that the five men were inside a BMW M5 as it was going at speeds up to 120 mph down a runway at Jumbolair Aviation Estates.

The report said the driver, Josh Ammirato, 18, was driving the car when it left the end of the runway and flew 200 feet through the air.

Authorities said Ammirato hit the brakes for two to three seconds, the car veered sideways, overturned and became airborne.

According to the report, the car then struck a fence and three trees. Ammirato and all four passengers were ejected from the vehicle.

Ammirato and the front passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash; the other three passengers were not.

The Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco have also joined the investigation, and were conducting a toxicology report to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Along with Ammirato, the four other young men involved in this fatal crash were Jacob James Casey, 19; James Devon Hime, 19; Dustin J. Dawe, 19; and Issac Rubin, 20.

Don't want to sound like an asshole but what were the parents thinking giving their 18 yr son a $75,000 car!!

Its a tragedy but something that could of easily been avoided by not going out driving after a party.

Read most of the thread, agreed, the parents were rather dimwitted on buying their 18 year old son a bloody M5. No way is any 18 year old male ready for such a powerful car. Shame on the parents.
