Men who masturbate will find their hands "pregnant in the afterlife," a Turkish televangelist has proclaimed.

The Islamic YouTube and TV preacher Mucahid Cihad Han recently told a viewer that masturbating is a forbidden act — a matter of debate among Islamic scholars — the Hindustan Times reports.

The viewer said he still masturbates, even though he's married. Han told him to "resist Satan's temptations."

"One hadith states that those who have sexual intercourse with their hands will find their hands pregnant in the afterlife, complaining against them to God over (their) rights," he said.
