Depending on where in Canada one lives, the mosquito season is either shorter or longer. However, the suckers come out with a vengence! In the U.P. of Michigan they are sometimes refered to as chiquitos....not really sure why - other than they really bite! Black flies are up there too,

Since notallthere lives just east of me in Canada (hard to think of as Canada as being east or south of the United States doesn't it?) he has the same plague of mosquitos going right now that we do.
