I had to work today. Good news: easiest commute ever. And work was quiet.

Have a safe & happy holiday.

Happy belated 4th of July to everyone.

Here is one located in the U.S. This is on South Bass Island, aka Put-In-Bay in Lake Erie, Erie County, Ohio. It is the Perry;s Victory and International Peace Memorial. It commemoriates Perry's victory over the British during the Battle of Lake Erie in 1814. This was a keep victory for the US during the War of 1812. Six servicemen from both the US and Britain are entombed there as well. The Battle of Lake Erie resulted in 4 of the 5 Great Lakes being used as a natural border between the US and Canada.

Put-In-Bay is also famous for the world's longest bar, 412 feet 8 inches and seats 114 people.
