Hmm. SO if it was started in 2001, then the Pontiac Sunbird (Late 80s, but this also encompasses the A, B, and C pillars) and later Sunfire (95-96 GT option) were years ahead of the trend with their

Back when the CSL and GTR M3's were made, it was before CF was popular like it is today, and stupid expensive! doubt it was a penny saver.

Shoulda bought an Integra just for you guys.

I'm thinking of tinting the white portions of the tail lights (Reverse/Turn) but the shape of the turn signal portion wouldn't work with the film I have, it's too thick. There's a little jut-out that would be near impossible to wrap without something thinner.

That'd be a Fiesta. :agreed:

Parts are still in development for the car, from Ford and others. I'm waiting to see what appears.

I think Fiestas are funny looking, but I would die to drive/get a ride in Ken Block's.

I approve of your Focus, even if it is a Ford... I'll survive. Pontiac is still better

At that point I don't know if it's a Fiesta anymore, it's just the skin of one

The Focus is almost ready for winter now. Today while I was at work I had the snow tires mounted and the 3M bra applied.

The bra covers the whole front bumper, part of each fender and the hood, and the forward-facing sections of the mirror caps. Not surprisingly it was hard to take a picture of it, but it came out really well.

I ended up with a set of Goodyears for winter use, and decided to use the stock wheels instead of bothering with steelies. I'm looking at options for summer wheels for next year, either aftermarket or a different set of OEM alloys.

And, a few pictures from yesterday which I took when I had a few free minutes.

800 kilometers now.

Looks good. I'm not too sure about the clear bra thing though. It serves a great purpose. In the future though, the paint will fade, but not the paint under the bra. :/
