My exhaust is actually still 2.25". The Flowmaster 80 series is 2.5" inlet & outlet. But the key to my exhaust sounding so nice, is the 18" long glasspack in place of my stock resonator.

ARE YOU KIDDING!? lol 18"?? My buddy has that same set up BUT his pipes are 2.5". His sounds kinda ricey though. WTF? What should I do to not make it sound ricey?

Keep it setup just like mine then. 2.25" pipping, and the glasspack rids any excess rasp. I also have a Magnaflow high flow cat now too.

Ok, then I would have to get new pipes, as mine are 2.5 stock I believe. Unless, would getting a longer, say 22", glasspack change anything?

LZ4 pipping is 2.25", but if you have the space for 22", go for it. Your G6 will sound badass with my setup. :welcomeFP:

so get the 22"? or get the 18" like you have?

With the large pipe Mark, you are causing a large echo through the pipe, and also losing power... I have a straight pipe all the way through to my muffler, which has a 7" chamber, then exits into a 4 1/4" tip. The straight pipe is 2.25" and my exhaust has a deep rumble to it

I'd stick with an 18" glasspack.

I want to hear a vid. When I ran straight glasspack, it was raspy in the upper revs.

AHAHA.

Woah there big guy, take it easy with ur 16 second car. You don't want to throw a rod.

Spent the day with the g/f, and went out east on LI. Cleaned my GA for the trip too, and brought the cam. These aren't my best, but that will change later on in the coming months.

I stopped at a fav spot of mine on RT 27 for a few:

In Camp Hero, it's an abandoned Army camp, with quite a bit of secrets, and a huge bunker. I crept into an entrance for some shots:

And this was just awesome, in the last town before Camp Hero and the Montuak Lighthouse, they have taxis out here, but they use Pontiac Montana's, PINK ones:

Both will work well. IMO, 2.25" is the perfect pipe size for our motors.
