I don't know why, I've just had this lonely/depressed feeling all day. I'm way past over my ex, despite the lying, cheating whore she turned out to be...goddamnit. Rant incoming.

As some of you who are apart of my FB, you've probably noticed that girl, Crystal be in and out of a relationship with me last month. Granted we only dated for about 2 months, in that time she managed to dangle a job with false hopes in front of me, got me unemployed for three weeks, lied to me about a pregnacy, all while cheating on me behind my back with HER ex. Isn't that great. And to boot, the lying bitch had connections to fake a blood test to make me believe she was pregnant. So for the "abortion" she wanted, I thought I was going to help and provide funds, all to which only were blown off ($250) on random dumb shit. After that, we just drifted off and stopped talking to each other.

Soooo...how did I find this all out? I remember her saying she lost her iPod touch. Guess what? It was in my car. What's the signifigance of this? She had the Facebook app, logged into her profile still. When I got into a wifi spot, I saw four new messages pop up for FB, so durdur, I check it out. And that's when everything unraveled. She played me like a goddamn fool. There was a lot of messages between her and her ex. A LOT. Pretty much the whole time, they were FORDing behind my back. It just made my blood boil. All those times I lent her money, driving her places...good lord. And when I gave her money towards the "abortion", she couldn't get over how funny it was getting money out of me. Saying she gets what she wants, when she wants.

I found out all this a week ago, and I've just been keeping it away, but today it just kinda smacked me real hard in the face. I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror, I felt ashamed, used. I thought I was better than to be tricked into some petty shit like this. I really don't know how I'll trust another girl now. I've had a few bad break ups, and annoying g/f's...but nothing like this.

Sorry, but I just needed to rant. Goddamnit...

I'm in downtown Port Jefferson right now, sitting by the docks. Hearing the boats gently rock in the water, the hum from the nearby ferry boat the pleasant yellow dock lamps and the gentle ocean breeze really puts me at ease.

But I can't have silence for too long. cracked out the ol' iPod touch for some music. The gloomy blues of Evergrey passing though my headphones for my enjoyment.

Of course, seeing these damn happy couples about doesn't put my wounds at ease however. :/

And there's a gang of angry high school kids fighting with each other. Over what? I really don't know, nor care.

More importantly now, my ice cream shake has become too watery for enjoyment.

At work. Delightful.

The profit outcome today looks mum at best. The only real customer coming in for needed work, was a woman with a rough running Pathfinder. Apparently her ex b/f fucked around with the truck at night, and the truck had a funny idle.

But...since Sears is oh so limited, we had to turn them away. I wish I had my code reader, I would have popped out the SES codes to give them a better idea what was wrong. She said it was a combo of rough acceleration, pinging in the exhaust, and I noticed the cat was awfully red.

But alas, I only told them what it could be by eye, and hearing the idle. They went to a Pep Boys. Too bad they'll give her the same story. Screw corporate repair shops.

You work at Sears as a CSA? I'm a tech. We fail together! ... You guys should have a code scanner in the shop, it's a required tool for the shop to have if you guys offer the fuel system cleaning service.

I'm a mechanical CSA, so I do double duty. I'll write up workorders, then do the oil change/tires/rotation/battery/flat repairs myself usually. I get both comission on sales and labor.

Yeah. We don't have you guys in our market yet. They put out a feeler for the idea and our shop damn near revolted at the idea. But, I'm a Tech 2. And. You guys should have a code reader. I'm serious, it's required if you guys offer the fuel system cleaning service. If you do and you don't have a code reader, tell your manager. If they says it's too much, talk to the DM. It's, like, a $20 reader.

My shop is a clusterfuck. So many things are out of wack and/or missing. Things are changing, but it's getting busy today. Making good sales today.

Well, once again I'm out by the docks. I really could make this a nightly thing, whether it's by myself or not.

Amon Amarth plays on my iPod as people pass by me. Two of the ferries are docked, the hum of their massive diesel motors fills the air. It's busy for them tonight, there's a huge lineup of cars to board both vessels, and the flow of the cars coming off is just as massive.

There's a lot of boats missing from the docks too, tonight. Half the amount from last night. Lots of folks out there cruising the Long Island sound, hopefully most of them don't get too drunk. Bad enough most of Long Island's populace is a few rungs on the ladder above the "Jersey Shore" mentality.

Also, I just noticed a tear on my Chuck Taylors. They're offically broken in.
