Today on the GT Mow, I took the blades off and sharpened them. I have coated the underside of the deck in bitumen based chassis paint and greased all the mandrels, replaced a pulley and greased & cleaned all the belt tension apparatus and now everything moves as it's supposed to. I also welded a bracket that had been torn off in a prior lifetime and fitted a new front roller. Deck is reattached to mower and I am now waiting for a little fuel tank fitting before the entire thing can be reassembled and then test driven. Easy as. An oil change, a cut & polish of the paint and plastics and there you go.

Hey Fitzy, are you going to upgrade the GT's ignition to HEI? :rofl:
