The 5th annual Chrome and Ice indoor car show starts this weekend at the Dort Federal Event Center in Flint, Michigan.

According to the local news this morning, the C8 Corvette they have on display this weekend is the same one that rolled across the block at Barrett-Jackson a few weeks ago to represent the sale of VIN #00001, which Rick Hendrick bought for $3M. This car is a prototype and not a production model.

Gorgeous '38 Chevy Deluxe with 4 Rochester 2G carbs converted into fuel injectors.

I think this is my ideal Vega dream car. It's actually a '75 with with the '72 front and rear clips installed. It has a 383 stroker. It retains the stock interior and it's a 4-speed.

This is an original '63 rusted patina Tempest.

Return of the Stringray - 2015

This particular C8 is a prototype. It is also the very same vehicle that rolled across the Barrett-Jackson Westworld stage in January 2020 to represent the sale of VIN # 0001 to charity which sold for $3 million to Rick Hendrick. That vehicle, VIN #0001, was just built just this past week.

Great pics as usual! Thanks Frosty! I was watching when Hendricks bought the Vett, Gordon on one side and I wasn’t sure who the other guy was. If they said I missed it. I guess when you have that much money you pay what you want to get what you want!
