My name is matt and im new to forums in general so this is a first. I own a 1966 Catalina that was passed down from my grandfather who bought it off the line, to his son after he passed, to me as my first car. After 1 year of college and a military enlistment, I finally have the time, space, and money to ship the car to me and begin restoring her. I look forward to interacting with some of the people here and becoming more experienced as time goes on.

Love to hear about these family stories around cars! Certainly looks to be in good shape on the outside from what I can tell from pics. Look forward to hearing about your journey with it!

Any plans for it right now?

Its actually currently in transit from the marshlands of northern Iowa down to Phoenix. Off the bat she hemorrhages oil so im going to chase that leak. After that just restore to factory as best I can.

Welcome aboard. Can't beat a '66 Turquoise Pontiac ;)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Looks like 8-Lug Rims in the 1st pic but seem to have a unique paint scheme in the 2nd making it look more like a hub cap?

Anyhow looks good and love the skirts!

Cheers
