Cool.

Wanna check if it's legal to take another company's exhaust take it apart re-baffle it and sell it as your own under another name?

Dear Magnaflow,

There is a fellow taking your well engineered crossflow mufflers apart, adding "baffling" and selling them under a different name, for double the price, for the Pontiac G6. Just so you know. Send me a letter back when you follow up with a lawsuit.

Kthxbai

Sincerely,

Chris.

;)

OK OK that will be enouff!

thanks Joe :badGT:

Video is very low quality as I took it to send to a few MMS people. High Quality Video this afternoon. I didn't remove the 3rd Cat, however, I don't see why I can't remove it and return it when it's time for CA Emissions Test in 2013.

Here's the video

View from the top to show how far they don't stick out.

here's an eye level from directly behind, just for you emily.

Rear%20End.jpg

Yep, the left side does appear to be slightly lower. i'll be sure to get that corrected Friday when I have the 3rd Cat Removed.

Odd, the left outlet is covered in more carbon than the right side...

Looks alright, can't listen to it cause I'm at work :D

and just because Bam gets a GTR, don't jump on him because of it. It's his choice on what he wants for his car and REMEMBER its NOT a fart can :lol2:

see i wasnt wrong i told you i was just trying to help a fella out..but i get bitched at..

As long as Bam didn't get ripped off. You all know my beef with the guy who "makes" and sells these catback systems.

It does sound good, I'll admit. Bam, have the car dyno'd. :D

Dude, I spent $375 to have this system installed, total! $280 for the muffler, tailpipes, and Tips........$20 for the Dual Valence, and $75 for the install yesterday, cause it needed to be welded in and some 2.5" pipe was added.

Add the $100 I paid previously to have the 2.5" already added if you want and call it an even $475........retail is $699 plus shipping.........I'm not sure if removing the 3rd CAT will cause CODES to be thrown, so I am awaiting some feed back on that.

$375, sounds about how much I've spent total on my exhaust system. Huzzah for bargains!

3rd cat? You sure you don't mean the resonator? Do the exhaust manifolds have cats built into them? I thought these motors only had one cat. O.o

the 2009 G6GT has a third cat. it's right where the system would normally bolt up to the previous years exhaust.

I've already removed the resonator. yes, there are cats on the left and right banks of the headers and then one more leading to the resonator.

The GTR sounds great and looks great, lets just hope it brings what it promises...

thanks brother! right now, I'm on the gas everywhere. so gas mileage is well, not even a factor. We'll find that out when I go to El Cajon next month. I'll make a point to stop by in Oceanside, too.

Once I get this 3rd cat removed it's going to get a deeper fuller tone. maybe get that done tonight.

haha can't wait!

So the coupe Dual Valence fits a sedan,....... interesting. :lol2: and so I asume a sedan one fits a coupe?

Also looks and sounds good! :D

That's correct. DeadPool has a coupe and it fit perfectly and vice versa. I'm gonna go get a high quality video now.
