Went to my first event today. Local forum a guy was offering up co-driving his car to get more people interested so I jumped at the opportunity. I ended up taking first in the novice class with 30 entries into it! My times were under 2 seconds slower then his! I think I may have just found my new addiction. My sweet trophy! Very very small amount of antisieze on the threads. Mine dont have any rust on them but I also remove them multiple times though out the year, I would venture to say upwards of 5 times. Twice to swap from winter to summer set up.

Tune the trans and it will last you. I have a local that tunes 3800's and he has had multiples up into the 200k+ range shifting just fine.
