  3. i agree sounds like a sticky thermostat.. or possibly blockage else where i dont know much about these cars though.. but there could be the possibility of running to cool on highway due to your thermostat staying open to long
  4. yeah, i am a part and have been part of several forums.. and a few local to me.. its hard to even want to look through some of the posts
  5. how about a CAT 99F4 Wheel loader!! that should give you a nice clean cut!
  6. *goes outside to hug torrent* golly not only do i feel like a peaceful soccer mom when i drive my torrent but now i can talk about it with such friendly people!!
  7. looks great!! even with the little bit of wheel fender gap!
  8. i say its an instant winner for any award!! we should get official FP go get 'em killer bumper stickers!
  9. seriously.. if you can get your hands on some nexen winter tires they chew up pretty quick but seem to glue themselves to the pavement for nice launches my experience is with a 1985 mercury capri IMO any dunlop tire is amazing, BUT its not necessary to spend this amount of money for a name that still is'nt designed for this application
  10. i think its kind of cool looking! really different for sure!
  11. I have had many chances to see comparisons of air to nitrogen and when noticeable temperature changes are constant in a tire the the lifespan of a nitrogen filled tire dominates over regular air filled in my personal experience running air at autocross i found my cornering would slowly diminish from my tires getting to hard to fast and the rubber staying at an inconsistent temperature.. i experimented with different pressures and finally switched over to nitrogen nitrogen helped in many situations such as braking and cornering as well as even take off.. tire pressure remains within a very close pressure as well tire temperature is even and can be verified with a laser thermometer so in my experience in a constant changing environment or in a very hot area, or for regular use in heavy traffic nitrogen is well worth it i know anywhere i have gone for a nitrogen fill the most i ever payed was 2 bucks a tire.. well worth it to see for yourself! save fuel and save your tires
  12. thanks for that! hoping this weekend to get a bunch of little detail work done and the shift knob was one part!
  13. yeah i just mean the shift knob itself.. i am not sure how it comes off.. mine could use a little sprucing up but i don't just wanna start pulling on it
  14. thanks or all the welcomes guys! thus far i have seen the least hate between members on this forum then that of all the other forums im on!
  15. yup the old picton airfield we still use one of the runways for arm drops and messing around when it gets a little boring haha ill check and see when the dates are for this year just started up last sunday i believe
  16. Well i dont mean for the G6 specifically but i notice they seem to have the same shift knob as my torrent
  17. Actually if you live in an area where temperature does fluctuate nitrogen can be beneficial.. as well if you do a lot of highway or heavy braking traffic such as crowded city driving when i did tires i found it to be more worth it value on transports then on passenger vehicles though
  18. good call you should come down for some of the autocross and lapping days at shannonville/ picton as well
  19. I live in napanee ontario.. about 2 hours east of Toronto and 2 and half hours south west of Ottawa anyone located within this range for meets and cruises?
  20. i am from vancouver BC, but living in ontario for the next little bit and.. if you in fact look it up, american beer is one of the worst ranked in the world! *runs away screaming.. blends in with million other torrents on the road*
  21. its front wheel drive.. its useless as an SUV, everything about it is car like.. like i said im not looking at slamming it.. im looking for a 1 to 2 inch drop to cover up some of the much uneeded wheel gap and to give it that extra.. "well thats different" look without it being completely diferent
  22. i realllllyyyy like this quick question though how the frig do these shift knobs come off... i know in some older cars there was a tab or button you had to press in to remove the knob.. but i cant seem to find anything on the torrent shift knob anyone help me?
